Lambs & IvyMusical Mobile, Yoo-Hoo

So this mobile is cute and coordinates beautifully with the Lambs & Ivy Puddles bedding set. *However*, the music is IRRITATING. I'm not talking like typical kid's toy you've-heard-it-a-thousand-times irritating, but like nails on a chalkboard. Our three-week-old daughter loves watching the characters go around in a circle but the music is a shrill, too loud, sharp dinging and even when you wind it up all the way, it only plays for a couple minutes (like 3) before it stops and you need to wind it up again. Its a good thing we kept the Fisher Price music box we had with our older daughter- THAT is soothing music and plays for like 20 minutes before it stops (its even put my husband to sleep in the chair a few times). The most unfortunate thing is that the motion of the mobile is tied to the music- so either they're both on or both off. I'd really like to have it just rotate and play the music from the other music box to help lull her to sleep. I think I'm gonna have to take it apart and see if I can disconnect the music function.

This mobile was purchased for the sole purpose of matching the rest of the bedroom suite. It is quite cute and very functional, though I doubt the music will be used more than a couple dozen times during it's use. Assembling the unit is fairly easy, but does take a little bit of work to maneuver the plastic supports through the "leaves". Once that's finished, mounting is a snap. The directions are clear and easy to read, and the sound volume is just right for my taste. I only wish the cost was a bit less, but given how great it looks in our daughter's bedroom, I was willing to splurge.

This was very easy to put together and attach to the crib. My son loves staring at it when he's laying in there. I wish the music played for longer so I didn't have to keep running back every time to wind it up again!

I love the look and the little guys are too damn cute. My daughter says I'm the grey one with the blue belly and She is the blue one. My son loves staring at it from his crib. It is a little too loud in my opinion which is why I did not give it a higher rating. However, it is well made and the color scheme goes well with the lamb and ivy crib bumper.

I purchased this Lambs and Ivy Musical Mobile and the music box isn`t work. I try and try starting te music and twist the button forward and backward,and no music plays. Can anyone help me out. I try with the on/off button yet, but no work.

Cute. Nice music. Little boring with only 2 characters & have since been told black & white or bold primary colors are better for baby's eye development.

my 3mo loves it, i can lay him in the crib, turn it on and leave the room for about 5-10mins before it stops and he gets upset. he will stare at it and smile to himself every time!. happy baby happy mommy.

I love how it looks in person. It's great quality. The only thing I have to say negative about it is that it doesn't fasten tight to the base, but it's not like that part will be played with or anything.
