Pegler Bulldog 15mm Angled TRV Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Pack x 1

I only needed the radiator valve so didn’t use the other parts. The valve is working fine.

It replaced one that was broken.

Would give five stars but my only criticism is….the pin had stuck on the existing valve so couldn’t change heat setting…little drop of WD40 solved the problem…The valve head fits onto the chrome elbow joint so it’s metal to plastic, with the stuck pin the serrations had worn off, two minutes to change, all good now, with Amazon Prime best price available.

I was quoted over £1000 to have all my TRVs replaced by a plumber. The next guy to quote suggested I just by a couple of replacement heads which just screw on without any plumbing work (who knew?) to see if that solved the problem. Hey presto! Old broken bulldog TRVs which heated the radiator to approx the temperature of the sun regardless of setting are now working again - and I have saved £1000!

Arrived promptly and fitted by plumber to replace two 12 year old Pegler valves and TRV. Worked straight away flawlessly.
