Pleasantly Surprised
I am pleasantly surprised by these pants! I got them for winter fat biking. I’m 5’8 and 165. I usually wear a size 12/31 long pant. I prefer a higher rise, especially since I’ll be in the snow. I ordered the 34 and 36 because they were going over another layer or two and I did not want them to be tight. I ended up keeping the 34, which I wear over cycling pants and a base layer. They fit great, allow me to move freely and are quite warm. They have a soft fleece on the inside. They were long enough (surprisingly) to fit down over the tops of my winter hiking boots snugly, which is perfect for biking. The rise is higher, but I really like that about these pants, they stay up during winter activities. They look nice, are not bulky and are a great alternative to full snow pants (not quite as warm though). These would also work for hiking in cooler weather. I could also pull these off at work (the all black), on snowy days where you have to unbury a car or walk, which is an awesome perk.

Not waterproof! Runs larger than measurements given on size chart.
NOT waterproof! Runs a little big. Could have ordered a small. If you have thin legs go small because the medium will be baggy. Thigh is 19” around above the knee.(8.5” below the crotch). The waist band is labeled 30” but comfortably accommodates up to it is actually 32 + some elastic so probably 34”. Material is stretchy and comfortable. Fuzzy sided interior is warm. Back pocket does not fit my iPhone Xs plus comfortably. Wide enough but the zipper and a small flap keeps the phone from sliding in easily. Again, NOT WATERPROOF! That’s a disappointment.See photos taken 10 min apart. Water puddles at first but seeps through to the paper towel in less than 10 minutes.

Very comfortable, good value.
I purchased these pants for hiking in the winter. They are cozy and warm, but don't make me overly hot. The inside is soft, making them so comfortable to wear. They move with me as I hike, even on steep inclines.I went up a size, thinking that I could put a layer underneath to keep me warm on particularly cold days, but haven't needed to yet. I can sinch the belt tighter to keep them up, but probably would have been better off with my regular size. The belt is long but has a clip that holds it in place, so it's not flapping all over the place. They are a couple of inches long, but my hiking shoes keep them off the ground. There are 2 deep pockets in the front, and 2 pockets in back with zippers. The zippers have bright coral zipper pulls, which are pretty and easy to spot for ease of use.I've machine washed them several times in cold water and dried them on low heat in the dryer. They still look brand new. Overall, I'm very happy with these pants and will probably purchase another pair.

Had to return them due to fit
The pants would have probably done the job they were made to do; meaning being warm, waterproof pants. Unfortunately, the fit was not good for my body and I had to return them. When standing, the waist was fine, but going to sit or crouch, the back of the waist crept down and exposed half of my butt. Additionally, I am 5' 2" and these were about 6 inches too long. It's not uncommon for me to have this problem, but these seemed excessively longer than most regular pants; and these aren't regular pants, due to the fabric and the activities I would be doing while wearing them, I'm not able to just roll them up.

Great fit, good for milder Winter weather. Maybe colder if super active.
The sizing chart is a little confusing until you find the right one but once you figure it out they fit quite well. They are cute and fit well, so much so that I didn’t feel awkward wearing them to pick out a Christmas tree on a cold day in December. It’s not super cold where I am so I’m not sure how they would hold up to Northern climes, but for this East Coast girl, where we have wet, but relatively mild, Winters they are perfect. They don’t “swish” too badly the way my heavier snow pants do. I bought them for long early morning or late evening walks with the dog. EDIT: I just recently (10/2020) took these on a bird hunting expedition to the Upper PenInsula of Michigan and then on to North Dakota. We traipsed through very dense brush and razor sharp grasses, small briars, you name it and not a scratch on my pants. ND was extremely cold and windy so I did add a pair of silk long underwear under the pants and, as long as I was walking, I stayed nice and warm. I could feel the cold when I stopped but not the wind. However, these should say water resistant, not waterproof. They will allow wetness to get to the skin but it does take a little while. I took our dog out for a walk in a drizzling rain and about 2/3 of the way back I could feel water beginning to seep in where my jacket met the tops of my knees. Overall, they are a great set of lightweight cold weather pants.

Great for staying warm in the cold
I bought these pants to wear in the rain and cold. So far I’ve only worn them in cold, windy weather. They worked great for keeping my legs warm. I bought them in my regular size. I’m able to wear them over my jeans. They are high waisted and not the most flattering at the top, but my coat or shirt is usually covering that. Love that they have zipper pockets!

Edit: Poor quality zipper.
EDIT: I wore these winter pants for the 2nd time today and the front right zipper came totally apart, consequently I am editing my review down to 1 star. I expect better quality for a 36$ pair of recreational pants.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I spent A LOT of time researching active winter pants. I settled on these and am very pleased with my choice! They are quiet ( I did not want the swishing sound of traditional nylon (?) gear ) and seem well made. I like the fit around the knee area too.RE: Sizing...I wear a 16 in most clothes, I got the 38 ( xxl) but I could've gotten the 36 and been ok, there is some elastic at the waist. I won't exchange them but when I lose some weight, I am going to get another pair of these.I have not had the chance to see about water resistance...if they do not perform I will come back and edit this review.I intend to wear these dog walking, hiking, snowshoeing, ice skating.

Immensely Comfortable
I bought these pants for outdoor wear- walking, horse care, ice skating and gardening, and also to wear indoors on the really cold days. I've got to say, I'm so pleased! All those cold-related aches and pains in my abdomen and legs disappeared as soon as I put them on. They're so warm for such lightweight fabric, perfect for my needs in our Australian winter conditions! Temperatures between -5 degrees Celcius and 10 degrees. They repel dirt and grass seeds, the rip-stop fabric is awesome around the animals, and they look very smart, so I'll be wearing them to work, as that's outdoors too.The best thing about them is the fit! I'm a muscular, short woman with 'mother curves,' plus-petite size or a 14-16 in Australian size. This is the first pair of pants I've *ever* worn that accommodates my female shape. Actually they're slightly roomier than I expected so I'll be getting a smaller size for the leaner days, and this pair will be perfect for when I'm dealing with bloating or whatever. The softness of the fleece lining and the flexible, breathability of the outer shell have left me delighted. They're so lovely I'm even using them as lounge wear when it's cold enough. They're also responsive enough to my movement that I'll be wearing them ice skating when the rinks reopen after quarantine. I will be buying more!Downsides, if I'm really nitpicking, would be the zippers, which need to be handled with care and catch a little. I would say this hardware will wear out long before the pants need to be otherwise replaced. If you buy them, be prepared to take a few more seconds putting them on and off than you'd need with your metal-zipper jeans, and don't break your fly when you're rushing in and out of the loo! For those of us who's waist sizes change around a lot, you may find buying to your biggest circumference gives you a roomier belly area than you expected, so you might want to try a couple of sizes around your range. Unfortunately the largest size is 40' so those of us who need this great womanly fit but are taller or bulkier than me will be left out. Anyone shorter than my 5'4' are going to have to deal with some extra leg length, although my extra leg sits ok around my boots without dragging or getting in the mud.Additional upsides, it came with a free belt which I have also put to good use, as my mumma belly makes all pants slip down when I'm active. They're certainly waterproof in light rain and muddy puddles.Opinion? Unbeatable for all outdoors winter wear and activities in the cool-temperate climates, up to the job of a person with a real body living an active life, and you won't need to change out of them to get comfortable when it's time to have a rest, either. They're definitely cosy, but I'm not sure they'd be warm enough to take skiing up in the alpine regions... I'm willing to test the theory and change my mind ;)

Very unsatisfied
The fit of these pants is very irregular. Not attractive. Rather than feeling like warm, waterproof snow pants, they feel more like light hiking pants. I’m returning them, even though Amazon will only cover part of the cost of returning them via international mail.
