100% Soft Irish Merino Wool Charcoal Gray Fashion Flared Coat, Charcoal, Medium

I just got this sweater today and am wearying right now. It's much nicer than the picture. It's too bad the model has her arms crossed so it's hard to see the vertical stitching at the waist giving it a defined waist. I actually bought it to be a bathrobe because I'm allergic to fleece and wanted something to keep me warm in the a.m. Because I wanted something that would cuddle me I upped the size to a large and am glad I did. I am 5'7", 128 lbs and do have a waistline. Normally I wear a medium or in some cases a small so this is tricky the way things are sized these days. It's so nice I'm sure I can wear it out for many occasions and probably will. I tend to get much colder than my husband, who is a heat machine. In the evenings if we are sitting around, he's in shorts and a T and I'm in jeans, lightweight sweater and cardigan plus a blanket. I'm hoping with this purchase I can save on my heating bill, as we won't have to negotiate the thermostat so often. It's a definite buy for me.

I ordered the medium. I'm 5'4" and about 150, kinda pear shaped, I keep almost all my weight below the waist. It feels a little bit big on me through the chest and if I button the bottom most button it's almost too small across my hips but that's to be expected with me and I don't feel the need to button the bottom button. I bought this because my office is kept a little cold most of the time and sometimes the heat goes out so I wanted something that would be cozy and warm. It is just that. It's warmer than I would expect, even given the weight and thickness which are generous. I was worried that I might have a problem with the wool since I've had wool things make me itchy before, but while I wouldn't say this is the softest sweater I've ever owned, it's certainly not itchy. While the cut isn't slimming on me, I still like the way it looks, especially when walking around. Another plus is that the nice gray wool has enough variation in colors of fibers in the yarn that it doesn't show every hair and bit of fuzz you pick up. The sleeves are long enough that I can tuck my hands in them when I'm outside in the cold but they don't fall down over my hands when I don't want them there. Overall, I love it and feel it was well worth the price tag.

I ordered this sweater coat for my daughter the Sunday before Christmas (when another gift fell through) and received it in time for it to be wrapped and under the tree on Christmas Eve. This sweater coat is gorgeous - a deep charcoal gray. The quality of the construction is excellent and the softness of the wool is amazing. I would have expected to pay at least double the price for something this beautiful and of this quality in a retail store. My daughter, who is 29 years old and in the beauty/fashion industry, absolutely loves it and has worn it daily since Christmas. It is the perfect weight for winters in California.

This is great when you button the one button at the waist and leave the rest open or leave them all unbuttoned. Beautiful made sweater and well made. Fits like an 8-10 medium should fit, I wear an 8 and there is room to wear a sweater under this coat sweater, great with jeans and boots or jeans and shooties.

Loved it, but it is exactly the same color as the "Merino Wool Flared Coat" in gray, which I already have. From the photo I was hoping it would be more blue-gray. I returned it, as I didn't want two of the same color.

Not very flattering; kinda grandma style but nice product good quality. It turned out the way too large. I am 5'7" and 130 pounds medium was too large.

This sweater has a substantial feel to it and the quality of the workmanship is impressive. The color is a beautiful deep rich gray and the detailed stitching gives the sweater a wonderful look and texture. This sweater coat fits well, is very flattering and looks expensive. Its nice and warm and I know I will get years of service out of it.

I had to send both sweaters back, which is a bummer because I really wanted a sweater coat and it was warm and I love the color. But it was HUGE on me, because it was 2 sizes too large.I'm not sure why I kept getting Extra Large sweaters sent, but I didn't try a third time for a medium.
