Got the plaque off so worth it

I have an elderly dog who after taking to the vet as I was concerned about her teeth, wanted to put her under GA to remove the calcification which I wasn't happy to do due to her age and putting her through unnecessary stress and the worry. Previously they had used tools to clip it off without any sedation or distress to her, this time unfortunately (much like a lot of vets these days) are chasing the money over the pets wellbeing for £300 minimum to put her under GA.So I thought I would give these tools a go for £6.99 before resorting to extreme and expensive measures and I'm so glad I did!! As you can see they did the job without the need to take her to a vet and stress her out, without general anaesthetic, without recovery time and without paying £300 minimum! She is a very good girl mind you, and happy for me to do what is necessary, it may be trickier with dogs who are more sensitive to their mouth being touched, but they really do work!

I am so impressed with this little tool kit for plaque removal I just had to leave a review! You can see in the photo I provided the difference it makes to my dogs teeth. My dog is really good though and didnt fuss when I had to pull her lips back. You may need more patience if your dog doesnt like having these things done.Highly recommended. Good quality and very sturdy.

Does great job

Brilliant! Really not easy to use because my dog hates me even trying to brush his teeth so he kept wriggling. He has brown teeth at the back and the fangs have brown along the top and redness on gum. Knew I had to do something soon. I've spent about 30 mins this evening with this little tool and have completely scraped off all the brown tartar from the two fangs. They look so much cleaner! I'll work on the back teeth another time, we've both had enough for tonight! Fiddly but effective and oddly satisfying.

had to be very careful on using as dogs tend to not like and move a lot and you could easily do more damage then good
