Worth the price and then some
I've purchased a lot of drum hardware in my day, mostly more sturdy/pricey things. It is true when it comes to hardware-you pretty much get what you pay for. That being said, this was an inexpensive throne. You are getting what you pay for. My review is this: The seat itself is large and thick and very comfortable. The metal is not the most heavy duty nor is the plastic turn knobs. It is however better than I expected overall for the price. So, I'm going to go very easy with this throne. Not throw it around or over tighten things and I believe it'll be well worth the price and them some. So far that is the case. Giving it 4 stars for it being what it should be and then some. I'm happy with it.

Not bad for the price
This has gotten some bad reviews.. maybe I got the best one they ever made. Not really sure. The pad is firm, but comfortable. Stitching looks good. Whole thing took about 30 seconds to assemble. Legs are nice, locking hardware has large gripping areas for easy adjustments. All in all not bad. I did knock off a star for 2 reasons, first off, the legs are rivited together and they could have been a bit tighter. Secondly, if I don't tighten the seat down on the post completely it tends to wobble. Not a huge deal, I tightened it up. Over all I think this is a pretty solid seat.

A little Too short for tall people
Comfy seat! But, for someone that is 6 foot or taller it's too short for leg space. If for a child, it would be perfect and great priced. I recommend if you are tall go with something that's between 25 or 28 inches tall

Product received vs product advertised: NOT the same
The product advertised was not the product I received. I did double check to make sure I wasn't overreacting, but the picture on Amazon here and the picture on the box are clearly NOT the throne I received. Even the instructions talk about parts that aren't even included anywhere on the stool. 1) There's no knob on the top at all. Who knows where it went. (Instead there's the long twistable knob thing, as you can see in the video.) 2) The central tube is longer in the pictures, which makes me assume there's more room to adjust the height. 3) As assembled, there is NO way to adjust the height unless you completely take it apart. 4) When I sat on it just now as I was typing this it fell down to it's lowest height. Is it a stool? Yes it is. Is it comfy? Not really, but it's not the worst thing I've ever sat on. Does it serve as an adjustable throne? Not at all. I'm pretty sure some part(s) is/are missing, but even if I had the parts it's not the same as advertised.

You are gambling with your money with this product
I purchased one of these thrones and its been great.... so I purchased another one thinking it would be another great buy. NOT SO. It broke down 2 months after buying it. It worked fine at first but after two months of limited use .... it sinks as soon as I sit down. Tightening the knobs has no affect. I weigh 140... its supposed to handle 250 as a max. VERY disappointed. You’re gambling with your money when you buy this product. It may work out great for you (like my first one) or it may break down soon after your purchase of it (like my second one).

Quality sturdy seat. poor instructions
Sturdy for sure. However does not come with good assembly instructions, very vague. I got it together but hope when a hefty person sits on it that the pole doesn't go right through it. The cushion is very firm also, and compared to my keyboard seat it's just not as comfortable so not to sure how long someone could sit on it. I would have given this 3.5 starts but not an option. It is of good quality though so 4 stars just may be deserving.

Gets the Job Done
Could be better, but it's not bad. If it would spin I'd be over the moon, but it's a basic stool. The seat isn't that tough since it flattens out easily, though still provides some padded comfort. It's not uncomfortable, just basic level. That's not to even say that it's low quality or a poor product b/c it is perfect as a stool for a drummer, but this is an entry-level product.

Value Drum Throne
Exactly what it says it is. I am just over 300 lbs and feel comfortable on this throne. The bolt style provides a greater sense of assurance that the seat will not move at all between playing and transportation. The screw-wheel for the seat itself is a little annoying but that seems to be standard on all thrones. There could be a bit more padding but overall this purchase was a good value.

Hurts sitting on it for more than 30-40 min....
Honestly I now know why they're cheap and it's cuz it's super uncomfortable to sit long periods of times. kinda disappointed tbh but it at least does the job...Re-Review 2 Months in:Honestly this is garbage, the cushion is barely even a cushion. It hurts my butt so so much and I began having back problems with this, and it's just not good... I wholeheartedly suggest you look away from this product. It's just terrible

unsafe and poor quality, had to return right away
I regret not taking a pic or video to show how bad this product was. I was looking for a solid throne, nothing too fancy or heavy duty, and this fit the budget. But when I unboxed it, the first thing I noticed was the cheap materials used to make it. The foam seat seemed to be made out of a large sponge that they just covered with a thin layer of fake leather, and stapled poorly onto a thin piece of wood. The metal pole that holds the seat cushion up was slightly curved (almost hard to notice), but this is due to the poor quality in metal that they've used and could easily snap. The legs did not feel tightly secured and safe to hold "250lbs" as they claimed. I am 155lbs and I felt that it couldn't even hold my weight without wobbling over, even after I fastened the screws as tightly as I could. It just felt like it would snap off after 3 to 5 uses. VERY disappointed. Yes it is made in China, but I have seen some really good quality products from China. This one, unfortunately, wasn't.

Does NOT hold 250lbs
I am 6 feet and exactly 250 lbs. I bought this on sale to use as a guitar stool. I only used it for around 4+ hours a week and it lasted 3 months. The shaft that holds the seat actually bent. That was while stationary, playing guitar in my basement. I can't imagine how poorly it would hold up if some one who was close to the weight limit was trashing around on a set up drums.

Pretty dangerous chair!
The chair doesn’t have a way for the legs to stay in place when you adjust it so when you are playing and moving around it slowly collapses. It’s actually quite dangerous and can be very very expensive if you land on your kit! Pretty unhappy with the quality of this item and can’t wait to return it.
