This cap is not meant for actual swimming but playing around in the pool with your head above the water. When you dive it comes right off. When you swim the water gets in even when you pull it down over your ears and neck. I gave 2 stars because the center of my head stays dry, but all the locks around the edges and the ends get wet.

This swim cap is good especially for extensions, braids and twist. However, don't be fooled, your hair will still get wet. It doesn't seal out the water totally. My edges and scalp gets wet all the time. I swim 3 days a week and wear the cap all the time. Thank God I'm wearing twist!!!

It really fits over thick hair! And it's very becoming to look at also! Thank you! I have bought other swim caps that said they cover "thick" hair but they did not even fit over half my head!

this cap is intended for people with very long, bulky hair. It has plenty of space, but too large for me. It cost me $6.51 to return the item, so just be careful with the sizing.
