Mini Air Conditioner, Portable Mini Cooler Upgrade Model, Air-Conditioner with USB, Mini Desktop Table Fan with 3 Different Speeds, Indoor Outdoor

I bought this unit to cool my office. When it arrived, the packaging and all of the labels were in Chinese. Not that it is hard to figure out how to plug a cord into a wall, but it blew a fuse the first time I plugged it into the wall (5V? I think not....) and I couldn't figure out why because I couldn't read anything in the package.Once I got it in an outlet with enough juice to power the unit, I enjoyed it for about 3 weeks before it completely stopped working. Just stopped. I cannot get it back working, and of course this happened JUST after the return/warranty periods expired.Do not buy unless you want to end up with a $25 paperweight.

This is a piece of crap. It's made with the cheapest of plastic and the fan in it is a fan you would find in a personal computer. It barely cools even if you sit 5 inches from the front of it. Do not waste your money on this. Also it was very noisy for such a little thing with no power. I returned it after trying it for 2 days.

The instructions were in English, but badly written. No instructions on exactly how the filters would fit into the machine, but I finally got that done. Then I waited for cool air. Nada. Just a slight breeze. The humidity in my house was at about 40%. Maybe that is too high for an evaporative cooler to work? I could not figure out how the water in the top reservoir would even get to the filters. Apparently it did not, as they dried out quickly and the reservoir was at the same level. I returned it.

The manual including instructions are only in Chinese.

DO NOT BUY. I do not recommend this at all. I tried so many times to get this to work. I used ice cold water, ice and water, soaking the filters in ice water, the works and this thing NEVER worked right. It always just blew warm out. The filters dried out quick. The water spit does not lock shut well enough so it spills super easy. Its very loud. Saw it was good to use in vehicles, DO NOT RECOMMEND. If I could've given it 0 stars I would have. Again, do not waste your money on this product.

The water in the tank up top is supposed to move down into the filters to keep them wet, but it doesn't do squat. I can see enough steam to see that a little bit of water is moving, but I have to manually wet the filters every hour; they get bone dry otherwise.Besides the moisture issue it works fine for what it is. I still wouldn't bother, though.

I didn't expect a whole lot considering the size of the unit, but with the cost, I did expect it to be reasonably effective. Unless you are standing 5" in front of the vent you do not feel the air at all. Think twice about buying these.
