EDEN BodyWorks Papaya Castor Moisturizing Scalp Cleanser | 12 oz | Gently Cleanse, Nourish & Detangle Hair

My hair, when wet, reaches to the middle of my back and is mostly silver now (eh, I'm old). It's fine, curly, normal porosity and I have a lot of it. Being that it's curly AND silver, it's inherently dry. Being that it's long, curly and fine, it also tangles very, very easily.This co-wash, while on the expensive side (for my pockets), is absolutely worth the purchase because it does an excellent job cleaning my dry scalp while easily detangling and gently cleansing my curls of all products (gel, mousse, etc).I generally only wash my hair every 4 to 5 days, and most of those are co-washes using this product. I do find it necessary to follow up with a rinse out conditioner (always squish to condish!) as well as a light leave-in.

This is a pretty good cowash. I have curly hair that I don't shampoo every day to prevent it drying out. This product smells really nice and is good for cleaning my scalp. I typically use 3 or 4 pumps and give my scalp a good scrub with this, then let it run down through my hair as it rinses out. Then I condition only the length. I try to only shampoo twice a week but still need to wet my hair daily to reset my curls. I would buy this again.

I have a 4a/4b curl pattern.I ordered this because I get a lot of product buildup from my leave-in conditioners. So when I saw someone use/review this product on youtube, I wanted to try it. It was better than I expected. It felt very moisturizing on my hair and smelled INCREDIBLE. Kind of citrusy in the scent. The bottle had slightly opened during the delivery and I was planning on giving less stars because of the poor packaging but the product itself was too nice to give less than 5 stars.

Where has this been my whole life?! I currently use it on mine and my husband’s hair. I love that it cleanses without stripping my hair. Less cleansing than a shampoo but slightly more than a cowash due to the ACV. A little goes a really long way. 3 washes in and I’ve barely made a dent in the amount in the bottle.

I use this scalp cleanser to separate and detangle my hair. Work great. It cleans the hair gently but also has enough slip. I wouldn't use this as my only shampoo. I do the bare minimum when it comes to styling my hair, so I can get away with using this scalp cleanser by itself. If you do a wash a go with gel i would recommend using a second shampoo

I love the scent but it left my scalp and the rest of my hair really greasy.

This is an Amazing product!! Great cleanser, gentle, a little bit goes along way too. My 4c curls loved it. My hair was pretty much tangle free on the comb out and it smells delicious. Good enough to eat!!
