OMG, this was not at all what was expecting. As you can see in the picture above, this grinder is TINY, not much bigger than a cup of coffee. It barely holds any beans. In addition to it's almost useless and bizzare size the biggest problem is the build. They made the critical top bar (which holds everything together and also supports the grinder) out of PLASTIC. Yes, plastic not black iron like the other pieces. It's absurd that you would make the crank and the gears out of wrought iron only to have your main support made out of plastic which is bending and twisting while you turn the crank. I thought I would snap it off just by grinding with the wheel and it required me to hold the unit down while cranking it was almost a 2 person job for a TINY grinder. If this was about 6 times the size and build out of black iron THEN it would be worth the price and five stars.

This is aesthetically pleasing. If you want to use it for grinding coffee beans it is trash. Very disappointed.

I've yet to use this coffee grinder and will update once I have. It's absolutely lovely and as it is in the photo. My only complaint is that it arrived with a noticeable scuff mark right in the front of the machine and it seems like I will need to tighten a piece on the some as it is incredibly wobbly.

I was so excited for this product to come, but very disappointed when I tried to use it.Unfortunately they have cast iron mixed with cheap flimsy plastic. The gears are cast iron, but the housing is plastic. When you try to turn the gears the plastic flexes and doesn't give you the stability for the torque to turn the handle. Also the base is too small to be stable while turning.

Had to buy another grinder, not worth the money

Looks pretty good but was not packaged very smartly and has some unwanted wear marks. Not worth sending back because of it but my reasoning for so few stars

The main part holding the turn handle is plastic and flimsy at that… Would gladly pay more for a quality product for I can’t see this lasting with regular use.

It's cute, but not ideally functional. The hand crank is designed for single servings and even the small amount takes forever to grind!
