It is great, it would cost you a bundle to buy bacon, cook it then clean up, I love fried food in bacon, just scoop and use, time saving. Doesn't have to be refrigerated.

I love this stuff. It is awesome in so many recipes. Just a tablespoon when you saute adds depth. Very self stable. Browning meat, in sauerkraut, in stews, in hot dips. It adds more flavor than just adding the bacon.

great flavor, makes veggies delicious. The consistency however is weird and may have me looking for another bacon fat that is actually softly solidified like bacon fat is when we cook bacon at home and save the grease ourselves.. this here one is like gelatin up fat, almost like it is watered down or an oil was added to it.. just a weird consistency but, it does make it easy to measure out this way and i haven’t gotten any digestive issues going crazy with it the first 3 days after i got it, it made for a yummy fried up bread wrap yesterday!!update: well food and especially veggies that i normally dislike have tasted great since switching to this instead of butter, not to mention how good it is making my flatbread made from a mix. i fry them up with this bacon grease, super delcious and gives the normally bland bread a nice flavor.. Decided i can deal with the odd consistency/texture and ordered a 9lb tub (which is currently with a good till 6/2024)

Great without the mess of cooking bacon. It smells so good and melts right away in the pan. I love making refried beans with it because it makes them so creamy and smooth taste. Shelf stable, however my kitchen stays warm so I refrigerate it. No loss of taste or texture.

I like cooking with bacon grease! It adds flavor!
