Lightweight & Extra Resistant Wind Vent Beach Umbrella 6.5ft Aluminum Pole with Fiber Glass Ribs & Anchor by Copa (Assorted Colors)

We thought when we opened our beach umbrella that it was perfect! However we are using it for the first time today, and it was very difficult to get in the sand. It also came out of the sand and started blowing away. We live in Florida and have had a number of umbrellas, but never one that was/is so hard to bore into the sand and STAY! We had other people come over to help! Not happy! We shall see how it goes!

The base of this umbrella does not screw into the sand as expected and the handle that unfolds on the pole appears to be installed upside down. We had to dig a hole in the sand using my son's beach toys and then bury the bottom 12+inches so it would stay upright. Unfortunately I missed the window for return and will need to buy a new and different product for next year's beach season which is a disappointment. I really hoped to get better function for the price. Our neighbors have one that looks very similar and works great but for a better price.

Umbrella is great, sturdy and the vent keeps it stable in the beach breeze. the only negative I see is the design of the sand auger. it doesn't "bite" into sand that is a little dense rendering that important function on a windy beach somewhat useless.

Seemingly good working and a good looking product , however , the first day on the beach , with no wind mind you , the aluminum pole bent . There is a weak link at the point of the base where the plastic sand screw attaches to the pole . The slightest pressure will cause it to bend . I am very dissappointed in my purchase of this high end 50$ beach umbrella that now leaves me scrambling for a surf shop 20$ version to get me through the rest of my trip .

Looks great couldn't wait to try it. I couldn't get it to screw into the sand at the beach. This was a drive on beach don't know if that would make any differents. I tied it to the tailgate of my truck and it worked ok like that.

This umbrella have two design flows making it worthless on a beach. The anchor screw will not screw in into sand, and the height of umbrella cannot be adjusted. I am very disappointed, unfortunately I was not able to tested it sooner. .

Worst umbrella I ever bought. I thought ok this is nice and light to carry, however when you try to screw it in the sand I think the handles are upside down, it doesn't screw down, the smallest amount of breeze and it's gone. I've used it twice HATE it.

Seemed to be s very nice fit for us but unfortunately the design of the "drill" on the pole will not penetrate beach sand. The fins need to be separated and not continuous. Probably more info than you want but we literally had to discard this product. First time ever having a problem like this.
