Learned a lot about skin care. Looking pretty !
Since I am 77 years old the first half of the book on Acne and other skin issues did not interest me much but the second half was well worth the price of the book. It was a comprehensive and detailed explanation on anti-aging skincare. I learn a lot and have taken many of the doctors recommendations. I hardly have any wrinkles and with her help I will keep it that way for as long as I can.

It's a good solid education about your Skin
So I bought this book, it did what I wanted. Gave me a trusted source of practical information that I could apply. Not only that, but it was a book that wasn't overwhelming with its technical language, or "medical lingo" for the most part. As a layman I appreciated that.I do wish it had more pictures. That would be my only issue, b/c some of the topics/language, is very "Medical oriented" & to bridge that gap, and help things "Sink in"... I would have liked visuals. It's not the 1800's, from cameras to printer technology, everything has gotten more affordable & higher resolution.. so it should be a doable thing. That being said, I've noticed others talking about how the good doc, mentions her skin care products in the book, & acted like its some sort of cardinal sin to mention it? obviously if you don't root for yourself? who else is? Anyways, the author does mention her product line, but its not "rub it in your face" bad. Its just an option that exist. It's called "Synergy" I'm glad she mentioned it, how else am I supposed to know it existed?Anyways, I don't regret my purchase. I'd buy the book again knowing what I now know. I went in with realistic expectations, & that's what I got.

Not what I hoped for
This book is just alright.By no way is it my magic skin bible. I feel like a lot of it is basic stuff everyone knows. You know: don’t touch your face, eat well, don’t pop pimples with your fingers, don’t use cleansers with micro beads, and this is what skin cancer looks like.Nothing you won’t find on google trying to help your skincare regime.Overall I wouldn’t buy this book. I looked at it for so long and finally spent the money on it.I now keep it at my bedside for small quick reads for something small not to get hooked on.

Packed full of info
If you like the skin and want to learn everything about it, from soup to nuts, this is the book for you. There is something for everyone at every age in the book.Chockful of info! The amount of info is at the level of a textbook -- but much more readable and more fun than a textbook.
