Your wife will love this system.
this is a beautiful system which goes with any decor. Perfect studio sound and unobtrusive in your bedroom office or kitchen. I'm very particular when it comes to sound. I only like the best. This system works flawlessly with blutooth, is crystal clear big sound and is flexible. You can put the satellites anywhere and they rotate too. Yamaha makes some very expensive speakers which go into recording studios, and the drivers in this system are similar if not the same. It creates enough bass for a small apartment, and for most houses. There is a lot of flexibility in placement. It has a bass adjustment on the back. All but people who want the loudest stereo will love this 2.1 system. I particularly like that in standby, it auto-connects with blutooth. There were two small issues I didn't like- one was lack of RCA inputs. I guess they figure you're going to use blutooth only, or Iphone only. It does have an AUX input, you you could use a mini jack from a headphone to plug into the back. It was not so important that I would take it down to 4 stars, because it's an awesome product. but I'd say 4.75. The second was the subwoofer bracket not being flexible like the sats, nor wall-mountable. I would have like the base to rotate and be wall-mountable.Almost perfect Yamaha. Mine shipped from Japan for $278. At about $350 I'd think about the Nakamichi 5.1,
