Avon Professional 3 In 1 Pencil Sharpener

I didn't realize that this was designed specifically for makeup. I ordered it to sharpen colored pencils, which did not end well.We thoroughly cleaned it out and tested it on one of my wife's eye liners, and it worked great. So in the end it still has a purpose to fulfill around here.So, if you're looking for an eyeliner sharpener, I would recommend this one. It seems to do what it was designed for, and well. Otherwise:If you're like me and looking for a manual, but very portable, colored pencil sharpener, I ended up stumbling across a compact Staedtler sharpener. The Staedtler sharpener is made of metal and really small and portable. The larger hole is too small for my NARS lip pencils, which are decidedly "chunky". Otherwise, works great.

Used it as soon as I received it and immediately used it for my eye liner and eye brow pencil. It worked great and I am very pleased with the purchase. I had tried to use a regular pencil sharpener and it only grinded up the tips of my eye liner and eye brow pencil. In the past I bought my sharpener at a department store and I always thought it was too expensive. The Avon Professional 3 In 1 Pencil Sharpener is not only great in sharpening my liner and pencil, the cost was very reasonable.

Good sharpener. After losing the only one I could depend on for years, I toiled over which one to get as a replacement as so many sharpeners seem to destroy my makeup pencils. I landed on this one, and have no regrets. It's sturdy and has a very smooth grind, it doesn't grab too much or crack my makeup in any way as it sharpens. Love it.

I needed to replace my last eyebrow pencil sharpener which lasted about a month and decided to get a slightly better one. I chose this Avon product because it had good reviews. I received it this morning, used it immediately and it was terrible. I tried it three times and each time it broke the lead in my eyebrow pencil. I tried it on another eyebrow pencil just to be sure that the pencil wasn't defective with the same result. I needed an immediate replacement so I went out and bought a Wet and Wild sharpener for $1.19 and it worked great.

Had to find a sharpener that fit Secret Weapon (from Addictive Cosmetics.) The sharpener I had was too small. This sharpener has a removable piece on the larger of the two holes. It's easy to remove, and allows for larger pencils to fit. Love how versatile it is! It also doesn't eat your pencil like some sharpeners do. Definitely one of my favorite additions to my makeup tools!

I previously had a makeup pencil sharpener that always gouged a line into the perimeter of the pencil while sharpening. It was a piece of junk. After reading a number of reviews for what should be a simple product, I finally decided to splurge on this one. I'm glad I did, because quite simply, it works. Gives my eyebrow pencil a nice tip and doesn't prematurely eat up the pencil.

this item does not sharpen my eyebrow pencil correctly. the end of the pencil keeps breaking off before I get the task accomplished.
