A Collection of Wonders
As its name suggests, this anthology includes wonders and treasures you won't find anywhere else. The stories tucked away inside include aspects of the horror, romance, and paranormal genres. They take place all over the world and in various places in time. Each one holds secrets for readers to uncover. I recommend this collection to anyone seeking to explore the places, people, and things mysterious and unknown.

Great Collection of Curious Stories!
Another awesome anthology from Owl Hollow Press! The editors do such an amazing job picking out the anthology theme which leads to some very curious and odd stories about curious and odd gadgets and trinkets. There were many great stories. Here are my top 5 must-read favorites:"I Carry My Family Everywhere"--a family who keeps their deceased (killed by witches) family members in painted nesting dolls and get in all sorts of mischief when the main character, Albie, lets them out to help him ace tests and debates at school."The Murder of Crows"--A mortuary assistant who sees souls as blobs and discovers a murder of crows who help guide them to where they need to go after death. Anything with crows acting curious catches my interest and this short story delivered."The Thing in the Trunk"--set in the near future when society takes mandatory OnTrack pills to fix disorders ranging from ADD to WIS (Wandering Imagination Syndrome, aka daydreaming), Officer Emma Murphy pulls over a couple of funny fellows. Great ending."A Piece of Me"--nice character growth as the protag comes to terms with her drug-addled mother and how she affected their family. GREAT use of motifs from a child's cherry swim suit, to a lost baby tooth. Packs a lot of emotion."The Touch of a Song"--Cassandra is a psychometric who runs an antique shop and comes across a pan flute who needs her to help mend a family. I really enjoyed Cassandra as a character and learning about how her ability worked and how she felt called to help people. My story is "The Levee and Bea Pearl", a BLACKWATER-esque YA story that takes place along river banks and in creepy library basements. Since I wrote it, I felt funny putting it in my top 5 even though I'm proud of it and LOVE being in Bea Pearl's world. SUPER excited that her full length story, THE EXISTENCE OF BEA PEARL, will be published with OHP Summer of 2021
