Richland® Votive Candles White Unscented 10 Hour Burn Set of 288

These are awesome little candles! I had to test the time as soon as I received them. They really do burn 10 hours! They're great for events of all kinds or just for around the house when you need a little extra light. I was really surprised at the quality, too. They burn clean and provide a nice amount of light. Some of their wicks didn't catch flame right away, but after about 5-10 minutes they did their job just fine! Thanks!

I burn one of these candles nearly every day. They are scentless, smokeless, generally last a full day, and are about the cheapest candles you can buy of this size. I see a few people complaining about a loose wick. In any small candles use, I always hit the bottom of the candle wick with the lighter for a quarter second to use wax to secure it, and I have never had trouble since following this procedure. Takes no time and ensures the wick stays in place. A quick fix to small candle wick issues.

I've been buying the Richland votives for years - but I'm now using the Hosley votives. The issue of the hole for the wick being too wide has become a real problem. It is annoying enough that the wick falls out of the candle - but the holes have become so wide that the candle burns too fast down the center - resulting in the flame extinguishing in a short while in a pool of melted wax that collects in the center - instead of draining off the sides of the candle. Since I switched to Hosley - I've burned 500 of them - and not a single one failed to last 10 hours.

These candles are my favorite!! They are unscented, they last 10+ hours long, they burn clean, and about 30cents a piece if you buy them in bulk. I've been using these daily for years. i just love the natural fire over the fake light candles. There's just something about looking into the light of a real flame. I tried going with cheaper wax candles and oil lamps. But I always come back to these. I usually buy the 288 pack. If you haven't tried them, you will be amazed at how clean these burn!

No scent which was what I wanted. Wicks on some lasted less than an hour and others went for hours.

We use these candles each year for our neighborhood luminaries on Christmas Eve. When wrapped in foil, many lasted 12 hours!

I bought these for use in a restaurant using standard votive holders and they couldn't have been worse. The wicks in most of the candles are loose and fall completely out of the candle when you pick them up. They hardly burn, and when they do, they don't stay lit for anywhere near 10 hours. The best results I got was actually turning it upside down, pulling off the metal piece the loose wick is attached to, pulling the wick up higher, and then lighting that. And those "best results" were still terrible. If you plan on burning them more than once, for instance a few hours one night, and a few hours the next, there's a good chance you won't have enough wick to light or that the wick simply won't catch. We were constantly having to dig these out of our holders because they would never burn all the way down. Never knew votive candles could be so complicated or frustrating.
