Good Scales for coffee use
These are not specifically designed for coffee use but do a good job. I use them to weigh beans and the measurement lag is slightly annoying. But you can use the lid to hold the beans and once weighed you can transfer them to your grinder. These scales also fit well under my Gaggia Classic espresso machine and have the display to the side instead of the front. I find the display very good - bright enough and the digits are well defined. There is of course no timer on these scales but at least it has decent buttons which I like. The metal top has become scratched quite quickly but overall I'm pleased with these.

Great before, unreliable today
The media could not be loaded. I bought this scale a year and a half ago and it used to be great, only missing feature was a timer, but other than that, it was precise, quick to respond, and its form factor was perfectly adequate for the drip tray of my espresso machine. A year and a half later, unless it’s got brand new batteries, it doesn’t want to stay on for more than 30 seconds, following which it displays “Lo” and turns off immediately, even in the midst of pouring a shot. The batteries still provide full voltage according to my tester, and I also tried cleaning the scale, so the only conclusion is that it has reached its end of life.

Fluctuates continually - no use for espresso making
The media could not be loaded. Really sad, having read lots of good reviews but this is all over the place. Doesn’t stabilize on a reading. If the manufacturers will replace it I’ll try again, as many reviews said otherwise. Maybe I just got a duff unit.
