iVANKY HDMI 2.1 Switch 8K 2 Pack

I never have enough of these... i am always losing mine..This is a great replacement cord for the ones i may someday find!I will be buying again.

I'm using this cable to connect my 1st gen iMac 5K with the 15.6" 4K display from cocopar, B08B4LDKJ6. Picture quality is perfect. The cable connection feels good, and it appears very sturdy. The video signal is transmitted correctly with no issues, and the cable also relays Display Data Channel signals such as brightness controlling via the app Lunar.For those who want a 90° connection, I recommend using one from Duttek and attaching it to this cable. Mine is working great, doing everything the Anker cable does by itself, except coming out from the display at 90°.

I wanted to connect my macOS Catalina 27 inch Late 2012 to my macOS High Sierra 21.5 inch late 2009 and use my older Mac as a display monitor. It doesn't work and based on my research, It is impossible to do. It's not the cables, it's the system.

The wire is very sturdy. Connected my Windows surface to a 4k monitor. Picture quality is stable until I play videos.( usually video meetings). It starts flickering. Now I dont know if that's cord related or a problem with resolution between Microsoft and HP monitor. I m yet to figure that out. Now I have another Mac connecting to same monitor connected via. Displayport wire and I have no problems. So we know that's not a monitor issue.Overall will definitely recommend this product.

I had been using a late 2009 iMac with a 27" screen that was limping along at tortoise speed, so I recently bought a refurbished 2015 MacBook Pro. The iMac has no trade-in value but I wanted to keep and use it as a second monitor, if possible. After a bit of research I learned that I could connect the laptop to the desktop (mini display port to mini display port) with the right cable, and mirror the laptop monitor on the 27" monitor. So I read the reviews and ordered the iVanky cable, and was pleased to see that it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Using this cable to connect my MacBook Pro to an external monitor. It is truly 60Hz as promised and was plug and play. Feels well made. Just hope it will last for a decent amount of time.

At first it didn't work but then I switch the cable ends and it works perfectly. I've labeled which end goes into the laptop and voila, the Imac is working as a monitor to the laptop. Easy peasy and inexpensive.

The Best Buy and Apple associates I talked to assured me that there was no way that I would be able to turn my 27 inch iMac into a monitor and that I should just spend hundreds on a new monitor. I am so glad that I didn't listen and instead bought this for less than 10 bucks! It works like a charm.
