1-2-3 Draw Pets and Farm Animals

My 4 yr old son loves to color & draw so I got this for him for his bday. He loves it! It's def something he will "grow into" the older he gets. Right now we sit together & I kinda walk him through it & help him with certain things. We have a lot of fun with it! I think it's a great book to help any little artist learn how to draw!:)

Clear step by step instructions with interesting animal figurines a 6 yo can figure out all by herself. Very good book even for the adults who wants to improve drawing skills. Since the animals are essentially made up of shapes, the kid can learn about geometry at the same time!

Such a fun book. Easy to follow. I'm surprised at how well the animals turn out. This coming from someone who could only WISH to draw!!A good book to relax with.

Our family has other books in this series and we love them. If you think you are challenged when it comes to drawing, these are the books for you. My kids and I sit together and draw for hours, and I have as much fun as they do. I even sent some to my nephew for a gift, and he loved them as well.

Unfortunately this book does not illustrate all the steps to generate the picture. Instead it provides the first 3 to 4 steps then assumes the child can finish the additional details by looking at the last and final finished picture. Too bad it does this because my son was very frustrated after following all the steps indicated in the book and yet his picture still didn't look like the finished drawing illustrated in the book.

My kids enjoyed it.

My granddaughter was pleased with how easy it was to draw some of her favorite animals. Very basic and for young artists.

I now have plenty of great pictures that my daughter has drawn with confidence. As time goes by she gets better and her pride is a wonderful gift to us. If your child wishes to draw it is a great way to introduce them.
