I purchased this product for its sunscreen characteristics. But I was disappointed in its thin composition, although it advertises multiple layers for thermo-insulation effect. They seem "cheaply" make, and does not have thermo-dampening quality I expected. There is little, if any, improvement over the slightly cheaper and thinner version that goes on the inside of the windshield. I'll likely offer an update to this review after field testing in extreme sunshine on hot days over several days.

WOW!! I live in Montana and we already have snow. Cant fit 3 cars in the garage so the truck has to stay out in the elements. This snow cover for the windshield is just what I needed!! Its heavy duty, and well made. Fits the Toyota Tacoma very well, and hooks onto the mirrors for those windy days and nights! This is a great product and I will be ordering another one for the times when my vehicle is out in the snow while I'm at work!

I put the cover on my windshield and went inside without having to worry about an icy windshield in the morning. I'll be using this cover on my windshield all winter or until my carport arrives.This is a great tool for anybody that may have to leave their car outside. Not only does it protect your windshield from frozen precipitation, but also from falling sticks, nuts, etc.

Used this for the first time in a big snowstorm. I put in on my car the night before it snowed. It was so easy, I didn't need to read directions. There are straps that attach to the wheels. Then there are flaps that go inside the door. They stayed secure and they did not interfere with the door or seal. Then there was another strap that went across the inside windshield to make it extra secure! I have a Nissan rogue and it was more than large enough to cover the windshield. That night we had 6 inches of snow. The snow slid right off the cover. No scraping off the windshield! Windshield totally dry underneath. I believe I got my money's worth! It is also easy to fold back up.

Let me start by saying that the only thing I didn't like about this windshield cover is that it didn't come with a piece of paper or anything telling you how to use this since this cover has straps on it. However, it really wasn't too hard to figure it out.I just got this a few days ago, so I haven't gotten to try it out with snow yet, but I already love it.I love how it completely covers my windshield. It's great at helping make it so it's not so hot in our vehicle and it did great at keeping our windshield dry when it rained.I love that this cover has straps to prevent the cover from moving or going anywhere when there is wind, rain or snow.I really think this is going to be great protection for our front windshield if it snows this winter.I definitely think this is a great windshield cover and everyone that has a vehicle should have one of these. Just keep in mind that they are not made for big vehicles like semi trucks/18 wheelers. Great for regular trucks, SUVs, cars, etc... You definitely need to get one.

this easily covers almost all windshields and makes leaving for work after a storm so much easier now you may find something similar in Walmart or auto zone for a bit less but as someone who has owned them before those are much thinner and can freeze to your windshield if it wasn't put on dry. simply put living in the white mountains I would definitely recommend this product to help combat snow and ice accumulating on your windshield.

The cover is sturdy and stays in place when you put it on. It takes couple of 5 min to install and it does the job well. The only issue I have is that after using it for couple of times the edge fabric ripped from the main cover. Not sure why but this is the only issue so fat. It is still usable and covers the windshield snugly during a high wind or storm. I really like the sturdiness and the fact that is not moving after is on the car.

I purchased this cover for our Kia SUV's rear window. I tuck one of the longer edges along to the top edge of the car with the trunk door open and close the door so it stays trapped between the trunk door and the car. It's to provide my older daughter privacy for when she has to change in the car after swim practice while waiting for her younger sister's practice to end.
