Good value
A little too salty but good value and pretty convenient. Packet half the size would be better

The best on Amazon
Tried 3 other brands. These are definitely the best. Perfectly roasted, fresh and deliciously salty.

Good but not great
Kar's sunflower kernels are pretty good. I eat at least a pound of sunflower kernels a week and have tried many different brands over the years, so I can say these are better than most I've had, but not the best. They're better than the Kroger, Publix, Walmart, and Ingles private label brands, and are on par with Planters brand and the 16-oz bag Lidl infrequently carries. However, they're not as good as Aldi's 'Southern Grove' brand that I normally buy, which are by far the most consistent, freshest, best-tasting kernels I've had.Kar's sunflower kernels came in a convenient 16-oz resealable bag, had a good flavor, a light crunch, and were not overly salty, though each pack did contain some shell pieces and a few seeds that were hard as a rock and had to be spit out. Also, two of the six packs I received tasted a bit old - but certainly still edible - even though the expiration date was April 2024. Overall, I'd recommend Kar's sunflower kernels if you can get them for $4 per pack or less, but I certainly wouldn't buy them again at the current price (6 packs/$42 or $7 per pack).

NOT LIGHTLY SALTED
These seeds were not "lightly salted." They were so salty they were almost inedible. So much salt that my fingers were covered in salt.
