Not the best, not the worst, serves a definite purpose others cannot.
These arent the best for grip. The UTG brand grips in the picture are much better for actual grip. These are more of a slick plastic while the UTG ones are a grippy rubber. These are also more expensive after shipping. They all share the same defect as well, having a white area on the sides. That said, these are excellent at blocking heat and providing some grip in places other sizes wont fit. You can see in my picture how I was able to snug these up against the handstop in a way the utg wouldnt work. These also work great as an handguard scratch protection, and they weigh almost nothing. Overall this is a 4 1/2 star product but i gave it 5 because the company reached out to me about my concerns and didnt try to deny the white marks at all, very honest and they stand behind their product and strive to improve it. I will recommend these to anyone with a handguard similiar to mine.

Adds some texture to your rail
Picked these up to see I'd like the slate grip feel and was pleasantly surprised with the grips, although the texture is not aggressive, it adds some grip. I put them on the rail on the sides of where my foregrip is and love how it handles!*** update*** bolts came loose after one range trip. Two fell out completely

Excellent Product To Protect MLok Guard
These were purchased after a lengthy review of available products. They are exactly what I was looking for and installed easily.They are installed to protect the base of the Mlok handguard and ease on the hands when holding the rifle.They do the job they were designed to do.

Great Customer Service
First off the product is really nice and a nice addition to my gun.. but I really want to give a shout you to the SBI team for great customer support. Initially I bought the wrong item. I reached out to them about swapping the item out and they were extremely responsive and very helpful. Great work SBI, I wish more people were as customer oriented as your team.

Not well made
I'm not a fan of the hard plastic feel, and the honey cone pattern doesn't add any grip. The bolt was slightly to long. They hit the barrel. I had to trim the screw. They did fit well other then the screw length
