I gave this as a gift to my friend. She loved it!!! I smile when I go by her house and see him paddling away outside. Since it was a gift, I cannot address the ease of assembly, but I can say that he has stood up to some intense wind gusts and still looks as good as he did on day 1.

I bought this years ago and it lasted for about 5 years, even through Minnesota winters. I finally bought another one to replace it. The "paddles" move easily and fast, so it is fun to look at. The colors are nice and bright.

This guy really spins in the wind and is vibrant in color. Pretty easy to assemble and stick in the ground. Quality product for something so simple! I’d like to get some other ones...

I know they sell two sizes and I know it listed the size of this one, but it still ended up looking smaller than I expected. Truth is, I bought this only for the "paddle assembly" and mount. I built a four foot long kayak out of plywood, but could never get paddles made which turned well. So, I bought this and removed the paddle assembly to mount on mine. Problem solved. That said, the actual unit is made of durable rip-stop material and well sewn. It is worth the money.

I purchased this as a Christmas present in 2020 for 2 avid paddlers, when I visited them this year it was still on the deck rail working just fine. Yes they do take it down when strong winds are predicted, but they enjoy checking out the weather by watchin it.

Best purchase I've made in a long time ;-) Makes me smile every time I come home, thinking of buying at least one more for my friend who also loves to kayak.

I followed the instructions carefully and when it came to the shaft, I found that the two black spacers glued on the shaft were not correct. After calling the manufacturer, the lady told me that the instructions are wrong. and that the spacers were correct. Unfortunately, I had tried to get the spacer off and in the process, made a mess of it and had to resort to other means of making it work. Don't do as I did! Fool with the shaft and you will find that it will work with what they provided you.Dave

Ein optischer Hingucker mit kräftigen Farben, der im Freien hoffentlich lange sein Aussehen behalten wird! Aufbauanleitung zwar nur auf Englisch, durch die beigefügte Bebilderung aber gut nachzuvollziehen. Für eingefleischte Kanuten etwas verwirrend: die entgegengesetzte Drehrichtung der Paddelflügel. Demnach würde sich ein "echter" Paddler nur auf der Stelle im Kreise drehen!
