Love Letters: A Rose Harbor Novel, Book three is by Debbie Macomber. This book takes place in Cedar Cove, Washington at the Rose Harbor Inn. Jo Marie Rose owns and runs the Inn. It has provided comfort and healing to everyone who has stayed here before. However, it doesn’t seem to be able to heal this group of visitors.Eleanor (Ellie) Reynolds has come to Cedar Cove to meet Tom who she met online. Despite her Mother’s admonitions, Ellie has come to meet Tom in person and see if there might be the signs of a real relationship growing. Ellie’s Mother is not in favor of this meeting as she sees all men out to get women in their claws and never let go. This attitude goes back to her Mother’s (Virginia)marriage. Her husband left Virginia and Ellie and was never heard of again except for child support. Will Virginia be right about Tom? Is he just using Ellie?Maggie and Roy were having a weekend getaway with the blessing of Roy’s parents who had paid for the weekend as an anniversary gift and were taking care of their two sons for them. Maggie and Roy were going through a very rough part in their marriage. They needed to talk it out; but Roy wouldn’t talk and Maggie still believed Roy was texting Katherine. Would their vows to each other hold firm through the turmoil? The Inn at Rose Harbor is a wonderful and fulfilling place. I wish it really existed and I could afford to spend some time there. The characters are very realistic.

cheesy
It’s a cute book, easy to read, but even for me it can be slightly too cheesy and predictable, but nonetheless i continue to read. It calms me, and soothes my soul, and that’s good enough for me :)

This is #3 of a five book series
I have my books (over 1500) on a spreadsheet so i dont duplicate them. This was one i thought i missed and when i received it, discovered i had already bought, read and passed on. In reading the other four, i need to keep this one to read the five in the series in proper order. This series is very easy read, typical Debbie Macomber writing and is giving me joy.

Debbie is up to her usual great plots.
Maggie's Inn still welcomes people and brings healing. A couple trying to piece together their marriage. A daughter seeking a relationship despite her mother's overabundance of caution echoing her past. One innkeeper learning to move through grief and begin to recognize what is on her doorstep.

Healing
Ellie arrives at the inn full of expectations. Her whirlwind romance with Tom is everything she dreamed it would be; until his surprise. True romance here.Scott arrives at the inn to take his daughter for dinner only to reconnect with his ex-wife he left 20 years ago.Roy and Maggie are the other guests who are trying to repair their damaged marriage - their story is a real roller coaster and Debbie keeps the suspense of whether or not they remain a couple until the end.As for Jo-Marie and Mark : their story is still developing. As soon as you think there is something more to it, Mark storms off leaving Jo Marie and the reader wondering.Thank you Debbie for another well written and enjoyable book - I cant wait to start your next in the Rose Harbour series.

Love Letters
Debbie Macomber' s Rose Harbour Inn novels are like wrapping a warm, cosy blanket around yourself on a cold, wet night. This third novel tells the story of a couple with marriage problems, a young lady meeting someone in person for the first time and Jo Marie's struggle to come to terms with her husband's death. We also find out a little more about handyman, Mark. A story that kept me engrossed from start to finish. My only sadness is that now I've finished it I have to wait a while for the next part of the story.
