Kustom Graphics 2: Hot Rods, Burlesque and Rock 'n' Roll

A good looking, quality bound hardcover book that is crammed full of great hot rod "monster" and cool low brow art. It will take me a while to fully appreciate this because there is so much to enjoy. Lots of fun and I would recommend it to fans of rat fink, tiki, surfer, hot rod, funky vampire, and just plain Kool art.

Great book well laid out great pictures and info about the "kustom culture" scene. The art from pin ups to hot rods and tattoo art is beyond impressive. If your an illustrator or graphic artist this would be a great addition to your collection or library. I would highly recommend this book along with the first Kustom Graphics book wonderfully thought out and put together. Awesome book!!

I own the first book, and this one is just as good if not better. If you like this type of hot rod culture art, it's a winner. There are many different styles, so there is something in this book for every artist, or car geek.

Wie auch bereits Band 1 ist dieses Buch top und absolut sehenswert! Leider dachte ich, sowie mein Beschenkter zunächst, dass es sich versehentlich erneut um Band 1 handele, da auf den ersten Blick einige Bilder/Künstler doppelt, oder aber sehr ähnlich zu denen im ersten Band ausgewählt wurden. Daher einen Stern Abzug. Trotzdem ein absolut lohnenswertes Buch!

If you are looking for inspiration for tattoos or motorcycle or custom car artwork this is the book for you .I have to say I was blown away with the first issue of this ie Kustom Graphics and I don't think this second issue is quite as good . Don't get me wrong its a great book and I don't regret the purchase I just feel that for me personally the first book had the better artwork . Whatever though they are both great if you like lowbrow artwork !!

A wide variety of artwork from a number of great artists covering the essential themes of hot rods, horror, speed and girls. Plus a nod to Picasso in one or two pieces. A great place to start if you're looking for inspiration for your own art or need a cool album cover for your alt.garage.???? band's next hit.Docked a star as the book would maybe benefit from being a larger format and containing more info on each artist. Still worth the money though.Now where did I leave that White Zombie album...?
