They are delicious

These are so delicious! I love them. My grandmother always made Cheese Straws during the holidays and I haven't been able to have them for many years, as she passed away. Additionally, my son has Celiac's disease and has been unable to eat any commercial brand cheese straws due to the Gluten. I got these hoping they would be delicious and I was not disappointed. They are definitely not as good as my grandmothers were, but they are very good. They are not as light as my grandmother's were, as hers were not gluten free, but the flavor is wonderful. I like them with more cayenne pepper but all I had to do to was to sprinkle some on them and they were perfect. I will be ordering more of these today!

Before ordering these cheese straws, I read the complete list of the ingredients and no pepper or chili spice was listed. When received the cheese straws we tried them. At first the taste was very cheesy and very flavorful. But that was followed by a very spicy pepper/chili taste. We all had to get fluids to get relief from the taste. PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE, SO I LOST MY 37.00.

These cheese straws are delicious. They do not have any heat in my opinion, and some people like that bit of kick in cheese straws. I can not tell that they are gluten free. I also like that you can purchase a large quantity. Often you can find cheese straws, but when you open the package, there are so few inside. My one minor complaint is that most of the cheese straws are broken. It is likely a combination of the actual packaging and the shipping. I would not want to serve the broken pieces to guests, but it does not effect the taste.

My sweet godmother is an almost 80-year-old feisty spitfire from Mobile, Alabama. She is exceptionally discerning when it comes to food - never short of an opinion. I sent her several different brands to try and she declares these to be the best she's ever had. So, these are on auto-ship until she's tired of them. If you're looking for authentic Southern cheese straws, these are the ones.

I was so looking to getting these because most cheese straws aren't gluten free and have cayenne pepper in them. I ate the first one and was so excited because they don't taste gluten free and I loved the cheese flavor. After the 4th or 5th one I had to stop. My stomach can't handle the heat. I'm so disappointed. I loved the amount you get for the price just too spicy for me.These are spicy and it should be listed in ingredients.

I love the flavor and texture of these cheese straws. A real winner!

Southern girl who missed her cheese straws when I went GF. Have ordered various brands over the past couple of years. These are THE BEST! These are a staple in my house now. No one can tell they are gluten free.
