This is our go to on a stormy night.

This is your typical oolong with peach. It’s flavorful, but the peach isn’t overpowering. The flavors blend well, and the leaves are potent so you can make multiple pots with the same batch of tea.

The only thing preventing 5 stars is the price.I put a tablespoon or so of tea in a glass pot then pour 140° water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. I remove tea infuser and save for next pot when I do the same but with 160° water this time. I just leave the leaves in for the duration of consumption the second and third times. There can be a third steeping without it getting bitter, but you have to play with the previous two temperatures and times. This is a very delicate tea, so you need a bit of a clean palate in order to fully enjoy everything it has to offer. Lovely it is though.Pro tip: pour the tea from a good height to oxygenate water and bloom jasmine flavor and deepen green tea notes.My previous favorite was two leaves and a bud, but they went from 27 to 40 dollars practically overnight. It’s hard to find a good sencha that doesn’t get bitter. This is a good one.

I purchased this with another flavor, which I was very happy with. However, this one didn't quite meet up to that one. When I first open it it has a very mild fragrance. I didn't smell any notes of fruit and it almost smelled like it was old? I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and brewed it according to it's instructions. Even after brewing, there wasn't much of a fragrance to it but I know some teas are like that. Unfortunately, when I tried it, the flavor tasted very watered down. It wasn't so unpleasant that I couldn't drink it, but I haven't gone back for a second cup either. It was a bit disappointing to say the least.

Delicious and just what I wanted.

Reading the other reviews it leads me to believe that you have never had quality loose tea. And that they are not using it correctly someone said they are only getting 4 cups which is absurd. The tea taste great and I have ordered jasmine, jade pearl jasmine and Hibiscus which all were great and yes you can find them a little cheaper somewhere else but this is wholefoods.

Gourmet flavor.

I thought for the price per gram this ought to have been a decent phoenix oolong. Unfortunately it is flavored and the phoenix tea itself is not fragrant.
