The plastic could be thicker but, for the price compared to others I found, I can't complain as it will still serve it purpose. It didn't come with installation instructions but, it took me less than 30 minutes to install.

I bought this because the price was a lot better then the name brand. There is only 2 things that I am not liking but doesn't effect the purpose for use. I don't like how only the key will allow you to open it, and it is not as sturdy as the name brands. My BF has 2 in his truck and they are awesome. They have a turn handle to open the lid (so you don't have to keep it locked all the time) This unit requires the key in order to keep the lid shut. Other then that I am only using it for straps and bungies and hitch parts. That's why I gave 4 stars, but all in all I like it and it works for me.

Easy to install, which is good because there are no instructions. It's nice to swing it out and not have to open tannau cover to get in it.This is an update. This box is junk. With in a year, the latching mechanism broke and the lid hinges came apart. The concept is good but the quality is not.

Easy to install and fits under a bed cover only the is you have to put holes on the inside of the bed.

This comes with no instructions at all, but after a few minutes of playing with it, and looking at the pictures provided on the sellers page, I was able to figure it out. Some of the self tapping lags screws didnt bite when I drilled them in. I think the spacing in the thread is to great. So I'll pick up some different ones and try that. Otherwise it mounts ok. Lock works alright, it's a cheap lock, but keeps the lid shut. Box is smaller than I expected, and sits further away from the side wall than I'd like, but it's not horrible. I could move it further forward, but I wanted it closer to the tailgate. Other than that, I think it will work for holding my tie-downs, tow chain and bungee cords.~UPDATE AUGUST 29 2022~Left my home to go to work when I heard something banging around in the bed. Stopped and got out to check it. All the plastic brackets holding the tool box in place are busted. I've had nothing in the bed of my truck, and when I have had a load, I've pulled the tool box out. Only thing I can think of is that I have stiff suspension for when I'm hualing/towing. I drive a ¾ ton silverado, so I'm sure there has been quite a bit of bouncing around. I've only had this for 4 months. I'm very unhappy with this result.~UPDATE JANUARY 2024~Some of the rivets have started to break now, so replacing those with boots. The bolts for mounting to the side wall of the bed have either pulled out or stripped the threads. So I'll have to figure something out for that. This box is not designed to have a lot of weight in it, and not designed for a stiff suspension like on my 07 2500HD Silverado. The only things I keep in the box are 1 tow chain, 1 jumper cable, and 10 wratchet straps.

This toolbox was just as described. My husband said it was an easy install. When it arrived I was nervous about it being broken inside because everything was banging around inside the box even though the box was in great shape, but it was all in tact. They should bubble wrap the fittings before they place them inside the box for shipping.

Install was easy, after a few months of driving the self tapping screws came loose, install nut serts and holds a hell of a lot better. easy to break into, a few go pulls and the lock tab pulls right out, I no longer keep anything of value in it, but it does hold a good amount.

I truly like these box. I use it for storing bungee cords and tie downs. Fits under the tonneau cover and install was pretty much straight forward. I don't keep anything of value in it so I don't lock
