The battery does not charge
I will never find out what the picture quality or image stabilisation is like because the batteries do not charge in BOTH of these camera's that I have tried and sent back. The charging light comes on and after about 30secs goes off - no charge. Yes, the battery was in the correct alignment; yes, the contacts were clean and yes, I was using the cable supplied with the cameras. This apparently common issue needs to be sorted out!

Disappointed
It's big (for a point & click), it's tough, and it's HEAVY. More than twice as heavy as my old camera, and twice the size of it too - all for the same amount of pixels, give or take a point or so, which would be fine if it delivered better images, as I expected from the lens. I can't comment on its face recognition feature as I take very few photographs of people, but as a macro camera, it isn't giving me the quality of image I had hoped for.The suppliers, however managed to deliver a 5 star service. Prompt and well packaged.

Great underwater shots
I bought this for my son who enjoys taking macro shots but really wanted something waterproof, we asked around on twitter and this came up as one of the best cameras for both macro and underwater shots. He is thrilled with it.
