Got my hot tub up and running again. installation was a little tricky but through trial and error got it working. You can't go by the colors of the wires.

I’d give the product a solid 5 stars but man, I can’t get a unit free of damage. Ordered same one a year ago when the secondary pump failed. Arrived with bent mounting tabs and cracked wet head. Couldn’t wait to install due to weather so I pilfered the old head and put on new motor. All well. Primary pump failed this year so I figure maybe the figured protective shipping. Nope. Pump arrived with destroyed wet head. Being a pro a swapping the heads I did to get the unit running. They were happy to have me ship it back for a new one (hopefully not broken in transit) but I only needed the wet head. I swapped the heads again and. Have it running Atleast. Be forewarned. They pack it well but Not enough to prevent UPS from blowing up the head. You can always buy just the output cover or while wet head I found. Overall, motor is quiet and easy to swap. First motor still quietly running hours a day.After a few messages the seller credited me the amount for a new discharge cover. For that I will give it a 5-star review.

My original pump for my hot tub lasted 12 years. This pump lasted only 67 days. When I contacted the company that sold it to try and get a replacement or refund I was told that because it was more than 30 days they would not replace it or give me a refund. They told me to contact the manufacturer who has no information about the sale at all, and does guaranteethe product.I was probably better off going to a local supply store in buying a pump in person. Local tend to Merchants stand behind the products they sell and don't pass the buck.Before doing business with a company that kicks the can down the road you should probably support your local merchant. I would have paid about $50 more had I bought it from a local. Now I wasted 370 bucks and have to buy a new one. Buying expensive products on line is risky.Update: I took a while but I got hold of the Manufacturer. I had to Email videos of the pump Making noises to them. Took a while but I did get the pump replaced and they paid for shipping.

Delivery was much faster than expected. Despite other concerning reviews I read, my motor was foam packed and delivered in excellent condition upon arrival. This motor works great and seems quieter than my previous one. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this seller again as the item was in its original brand new Waterway box and shipped from a Leslie Pool warehouse.

I have replaced all 3 motors in my spa all with this pump. I first replaced two of them and they only operate on high speed used for various jets and was impress that they were very powerful and quiet. Recently the last motor finally when out that is used for filtering on low speed and jets on high speed. I immediately noticed on low speed it made quite a loud hum and was concerned it was defective because it was so much louder than the motor it replaced. So I plugged one of the other motors into that plug they were just as loud on low speed. I am not sure why as I thought low speed also meant lower noise? That's my only compliant and deducted one star as otherwise these are well built motors!

Definitely a powerful pump if you need strong jets! Nice quality 2 speed pump for your hot tub.

Mine installed easily, but I've not powered it up yet. My pump was also 90 degrees off when I received it, but there is NO NEED to get destructive with it. Just back out the 4 bolts on the dry end (5/16 hex head), don't remove anything, just rotate the pump to the proper orientation. Get ALL 4 bolts started, go in an X pattern to get them barely snug, then go around again to final torque. If the motor seems noisy afterward, crack them loose and reposition the end castings just a hair. There is no need for a chisel, or to void your warranty by using one. I'm sure there's videos on YouTube about clocking motors and pumps, I've not looked.Don't forget to order seals, and rubber mounts too if you need them.

This vendor was my 3rd attempt to get an undamaged pump. Great quality job in packing.The pump has been working trouble-free in my swimspa for over 2 months.Either I'm getting weaker as a swimmer or this pump is more powerful than the original 4hp pump.
