HRF-AP1 Replacement Carbon Pre-Filter 16x48 (1 Pack) for Honeywell

I looked around on Amazon at all my options for a prefilter and finally after reading the reviews of at least a dozen similar I finally just said ok this it. If you are wasting time like I did stop now and just order this product. Its no different than the original I received with my Honeywell HPA300. Open the package, lay your used prefilter and cut it size. Simple. I held it up outside in the sun along with the orinal and the pores are no different otherwise this is the same thickness. Just purchase, cut and your ready to go. You receive more than enough for the Honeywell hpa300 to make 3 filters. Its a win win...

I bought this to cover the cabin air inlet for my 2004 Acura TL. Under the windshield bottom cover (first remove the pax-side wiper blade) there is a square hole that leads to the cabin air filter. I wanted to keep bugs getting into the cabin filter so I covered the hole with this. This is not a very effective activated charcoal, but sure does keep FOD getting into the cabin filter.

We have the Honeywell HPA250 Air Purifier and needed to replace both filters. We found it difficult to determine exactly which filters we needed. Let me STRONGLY recommend this aftermarket filter. We were able to cut out four (4) replacement filters for the "Odor Reducing Pre-Filter" from this material.We also found that the purifier will use the HoneywellTrue Replacement Filter, HRF-R2, that we found on Amazon.

Bought this because I couldn't find the right size charcoal filters for my compost bucket. The pre-cut round ones in the stores are much too small. So, I purchased this one and cut down to the size circles I needed. It works great and you get so many more filters for your money.

nicely thick, easily makes two pre-filter replacements for my old school hunter air purifier which in my humble opinion is the best air purifier money can buy. too bad they stopped selling it. love these filters. you have a loyal customer, captain's compass!

Using it as an odor barrier for a composting can. I cut to the appropriate size and install in the can lid. Easy to cut, easy to install, and does the job of odor-suppression. I will buy again when I run out of the current one.

Using to control odors with my hunting clothing in the bins I store them in. Seems to absorb any unwanted odors.

Shipper was perfect! Product exactly as advertised! I used a straight edge and a box cutter (razor) to cut to size. This is good stuff! Next time I'll buy a larger quantity to avoid shipping costs.
