I wasn't expecting much from these. I needed something to help me get the stuck corrector plate off of an old Celestron C8 telescope. The corrector plate is a fairly thick glass lens at the front of this particular type of telescope. This is something that these suction cups are absolutely not marketed for. But what the heck. My only other option was to use a butter knife or something like that and risk chipping or cracking the lens. I was not really expecting these to work. The first couple of tries they popped off and the lens didn't move. On the third attempt, the lens popped out and thankfully stayed securely attached to the suction cups. Problem solved. If I never use them again, I'd still consider this a great purchase.

I bought these to work on a Mac Book Pro drive replacement. They are sturdy and have the ability, thanks to the lever, to maintain a strong hold. The build quality is good, even though it is made of plastic with rubber suction cups. These suction cups can be used for pretty much anything where separation of parts is required. I recommend them.

the magnet part didn't work at all, guess cells are made w/hard plastic. But it doesn't work on anything metal at all as a magnet. Tried on the fridge and a file cabinet, no magnetization ata all. Getting a refundfor this. Do NOT recommend.

Needed to remove a HD from a dead 2011 iMac for someone. Found a good youtube video and was able to remove the front glass with the suction cups and the tools that come with it.

I broke my screen in half while using both of these. The screen cracked right in between the two suction cups as I was trying to get the suction cups off. Don't do what I did. Use only ONE suction cup.
