I just took the test today and passed with ease. The best part of this book is that it follows the ANCC test blue prints literally, line by line. I took a review course and was recommended to purchase the book by the ANCC (the orange and blue one). That one is a complete waste of $100. This book and the companion book with the extra questions is all you need. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. It removes all the fluff, and you are left with exactly what you need to know. I’ll continue to use this as a reference in practice as well.

I found that it provides great definitions but felt short in providing examples. At the same time, it is a study guide, although I was hoping for more of a teaching text/booklet.

Course material is very informative and to the point. However when I did the test questions it points to some information not being given in the prep section. Overall great test prep resource.

This book is an excellent resource for exam study. The chapter tests are prefaced with a review of key content explained well. I have been a nurse exec for 7 years and have already learned some new concepts and am feeling well prepared to take the exam. This book was recommended by my CNO who used it to study for the exam and passed.

I have been studying with this product for about 2 weeks. I started with exam success tips from pages 175-193. I found them incredibly helpful, and understand that knowing how to answer questions and being mentally prepared to take the exam is just about as important as knowing the material. I like that the material is concise so that I am only studying pertinent topics. I will be taking the exam in 6 weeks and feel confident that I will be well prepared.

A great review book with lots of good information for preparation for the test.Both of the booklets are excellent resources to prepare me for the exam.  The explanation of the answers help me to understand why the answer was selected.  It provides a wide variety of good information related to leadership, management, performance improvement and financial questions. In the Nurse Executive Secrets it provides a good overview of all areas to focus on.  Review the questions and the rational for the answers help me understand the reasoning for the answer.

I am a BSN, RN, OCN certified clinical nurse manager of an outpatient oncology and infusion services at hospital-based ambulatory clinics. I used the OCN Exam Certification secrets study guide in the passed to help prepare me for the OCN. I passed with flying colors and have recommended it to many people over the years! That is why, now that I hope to obtain my NE-BC I came back for more material!

Once the material was ordered, I was pleasantly surprised on the immediate response and receipt of the items. Wanting to make sure I had a variety of study methods and information I ordered the study guide, flash cards and practice exam. I would give the product rating a 5 as a first impression because of the variety of topic information and clear explanations for each topic. The study exam has helped me identify my weak areas so I can focus on them.
