Soul Eater Not: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

This set came with both blu-ray AND dvd formats of the show. I only needed the blu-ray so I gave the DVD set to someone else to watch. This series is still fun but I didn't think quite as highly of it as the original.

Astoundingly queer themes run-through this anime with a fervour⸺underpinning the fabric of the story and relationships within/between characters. Familiar faces exist throughout the world as well⸺helping guide our protagonists, or simply making stylish cameo｢as is the case with Death the Kid｣Sometimes anime manage to hit, and occupy all-the-right spots⸺this is one of them (*ꆤ.̫ꆤ*)

Excellent saga

Loved the actual Soul Eater and this one is just as cool. It is a proper prequel, but doesn't base itself off of the main characters of Soul Eater. It has its own main characters who drive the show. It has some decent action scenes, but it mainly focuses on school drama against witches that wish to destroy what the school stands for. I buy a lot of my anime based on the lack of "Fan Service" so I can watch it with my kids. This show has mild elements of fan service, but not enough to detract from what is going on. There is a segment where one of the main characters is talked about because she isn't as.... uh...chesty as another character, but this isn't something that comes up often enough to be a deal breaker.All-in-all, this show is pretty cool for the family, and ties up some loose strings left behind from watching Soul Eater.

A yuri slice of life mixed with a mystery caper. Lighter tone, more cute and loveable, but still has that soul eater feel to it. Serving as a prequel to the original series with all new characters and new challenges. And I had fun watching it especially my favorite character of the not series meme the goofy forgot full loveable girl who is a treat to watch.

The anime is great top notch quality but the packaging for it not so much. If you like Soul Eater then this anime is for you. I watched this anime dubbed and it was very well done. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the packaging is terrible. The box came cracked and won't close all the way with the paper cover slip, also the back part of the case art is very blurry and over saturated.

Soule Eater Not is exactly as the name suggests, it's not Soul Eater. It's cutesy, it's super fan-servicey, but at the same time, it's set in and expands upon the Soul Eater universe. While I haven't finished watching it, what I have watched is good. Recommend it for the hardcore Soul Eater fans out there that are interested in the universe and characters, not just in the action of Soul Eater.

I enjoyed the original Soul Eater immensely. When I heard about this spin off, I was worried because it didn't have the same feel as the first series. As it turns out, that is a good thing. It's Soul Eater from a new perspective. The new characters are cute and likable, it also showcases some of the side-characters from the original series that never had much screen time. I like how the originals showed up, but the story never focused on them, it was entirety about the new characters and their growth as friends and how they fit in together.

It's a pretty good Anime when i ordered i found everything intact just as new i certainly enjoyed it

タイトル『ソウルイーターノット!』/ディスク2枚/全12話。一般的な国内プレイヤーで再生出来ます（再生環境/SONYの2015年～の最廉価プレイヤー『BDP-S1500』）。タイトルで日本語/英字幕《OFF》を選択すれば、後は普通に鑑賞出来ます。映像特典はコマーシャル、ノンクレジットOP（2種）、ED（2種）、コメンタリー（北米版）等々です。ソウルイーターのスピンオフですが、本編前日譚＆本編キャラ補足作品といった方がわかりやすいかと。バトルものというよりも、女の子達の友情を中心としたつくりになっているので、ホンワカ時々シリアス系って感じのノリです。北米版ソウルイーターが爆安すぎたので、本作品がお高めに感じてしまうのですが、購入してみると、個人的にはこちらの作品の方が好きでした。…本編をより楽しむ意味でも、もっと早く購入してた方が良かったかも。しかし、北米版の『ソウルイーターノット!』のレビューを書こうと商品検索すると、何故かアダルト商品の扱いで、18歳以上の認証をアマゾンに求められましたが…この作品のどこにアダルト要素が有るんやっちゅうんねん～!!!
