At first I had a hard time getting the old screw out of my phone- needed tweezers ultimately- but that was the original phone. the repair dust cover was easily installed (still used my tweezers to position screw) but besides that - worked like a charm. Thanx! I am headed on a beach vacation and was concerned about the sand getting into my phone.

These charging port covers are great. My original one broke, so I taped it together, forgetting to order a replacement for about a month. When I realized what a pain in the rear the tape had been, I finally looked a new piece up and was shocked that they were inexpensive. I also found out that Samsung doesn’t sell replacements for this cover anyway.These are a little thinner than the original covers, but they still fit great. I really like that they have a little rubberized hook on them to help keep them closed. This particular set came with 2 covers, a screwdriver, an extra screw, and extra hold-down piece, and a cloth to clean my screen.Installation was easy. Turn off the phone, take off the back of the phone, remove battery, unscrew the small hold-down piece, pry the hold down piece up (This was the most difficult for me because I didn’t have something small enough to get in the crack.), remove the broken charging port cover, and reverse the process.

The charging port covers were no longer closing properly on either my wife's or my Galaxy S5. Installed these replacement doors quickly and easily (not at all like when I tried to replace a broken screen on my last phone), and they work like a champ. Definitely worth the money.

They fit the Samsung Galaxy S5 and seem to work well for a while. The new one that came with the phone lasted about a year and the replacements that I have bought have all lasted about a year. These do break, but it doesn't appear that they break any more frequently than an OEM part.

Be very careful with replacing this on your phone they can stretch, bend too much and break.
