Was skeptical initially, but these paint pens are great! The color pay off is beautiful and the paint seems to dry instantly. Just to test it, I applied the color (on paper) and ran my finger over the ink immediately, which only resulted in super minimal smudging. So, as long and you give it a few seconds to dry, they work and look beautiful! I hope these last a while as the color is opaque and vibrant.

These are great oil based paint pens. Smooth flow, and simple to use. They are fuss free with no mess. I definitely prefer these over paint brushes. Detailing is easy. The paint dries quickly. I use these on many surfaces including wood for stenciling. I am very pleased with this product. Would recommend and buy again.

You have to shake the markers then prime them by pushing down on the tip. This is more difficult for some markers than others. 8th graders were annoyed with how long it took. Markers worked well. We used them to decorate 40 wooden flat ornaments and now they are pretty much empty. Worked for what I wanted and there was no mess! More expensive than used regular paint but worth it for no cleanup in my opinion.

We are using them for rock painting. I really liked the ease of use and the color options. They come off the skin easily and dry very fast. I'm happy with this purchase!

The darker colors apply smoothly, evenly, and with a nice opaque application, as described. The brighter colors and neon do not at all. Looking at the photo you can see the difference in the way the paint comes out of the pen.The metallic ones have a nice shimmer to them, the photo doesn't depict it well.It also took much longer than 24 hours to fully dry, depending on the type of surface I used them on.

The markers all worked after shaking and tapping. I have posted pix of some colors on paper, some on white primer (sprayed on cardboard) that I plan to use with the markers, and the white marker on a gray and white part of the cardboard. Some colors are exactly like the marker caps, some are not. Note that the gray/silver is almost black and not metallic. The gold is metallic. It is possible to draw a fine line but you have to be careful and not exert pressure. I have no idea whether the markers are oil-based or acrylic-based. I am going to treat them with precautions for both types — use a primer, let the marker paint dry for days, then seal.

These are great. Price was right and the colors show up very well on the rocks I used from Dollar Tree. They dried quickly, too.

The media could not be loaded.  This is oil base. It is the worst paint pens. Everything about this product is a deception. It gets gooey within 10 seconds and then quickly but still has a sticky feel. The sticky paint makes it impossible to apply a 2 coat so touch up a fruitless effort.And of course there is nothing on their return policy which of course they don't want them back.
