OMG!!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!!! DUDE!!!!!!!!!! TOTTALY AWSUM DUDE!!!I own an oldish dell inspiron 530 and after accidentaly breaking one of the lil blades on the fan i had to replace it, cuz DUDE...It sounded HORRIBLE&LOUD and pretty darn embarrassing, when ever it started up!!!! considering that before i broke it, the original fans were pretty loud at start up. Sooooooooooooo...Im a bargain hunter and this Antec fan looked&sounded ok to me by the item description SO I PURCHASED IT...BUT THEN.....I FINALY RECIEVED THE ITEM AND INSTALLED IT...............AND TURNED ON AND STARTED MY PC....I STOOD THERE A COUPLE SECONDS PUZZELED.?..??>>I ASKED MY SELF, "SO.....IS THE FAN EVEN RUNNING YET??" I HAD TO LITERALLY LEAN OVER AND TAKE A LOOK INSIDE THE COMPUTER TO SEE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM WAS...THE ISSUE WAS THAT IT RAN BEAUTIFULLY AND UNLIKE ME WAS EXTREMELY SILENT...TO THE POINT WERE IF YOU DONT PAY ENOUGH ATTENTION TO IT, YOU WONT EVEN NO IT IS SPINING!!

Really like these for the thermal temp as (auto rpm speed adjust)They cost a little more than stock fans, but don't run as hard or at straight set rpm if that matters to you.Fans are nice and easy to install comes with all hardware. Wirer adapter comes with it 4-pin molex male-female end to use inline with something else plugged in, if not have a open plug available to use. Or can use the 3-pin to mobo if that is available.Using as a Graphic Card (extra) cooler so helps out good deal ;)

Great design
I don't know why these are being discontinued, it's a great fan. At the list price I would have never bought even one. But at 7 bucks and free shipping these are a steal. I bought 4 and should have bought more. In finishing my latest PC I bought 3 different types of fans on Amazon and these Antecs will be most of the fans that I use.The rig is going to get 3 Antecs, so I will have 1 spare. (And 8 spares of other types because I didn't know what I would use.)

UPDATE: Quiet?! I don't think so!
UPDATE: After a week, I couldn't handle the noise from these fans anymore and bought Silenx Effizio (EFX-08-12). WOW! What a different. The Silenx fans are completely quiet. I can hear myself think again. Buy the Silenx instead or you'll be sorry!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had to replace 6 fans (3 per machine) for my high-powered desktops, which sit on my desk and near me. I was hoping the Silverstone fans (crap) that I got with the case were more loud. Wrong. These fans are NOT quiet, despite what others are saying. I want real "quiet." You may want to check into fans with the shark fins on the blades. I have to live with these for now -- or until I get a sledge hammer out due to insanity. Also, because these have their own thermostat, don't use them for fans in the front of your case. They'll be sucking in cool air and never know the temps inside the case. Hind-site is 20/20, I guess.

Fan blow air
This fan blows a good amount of air and is fairly quite. Need twenty words so. The fins on the fan go round and round, round and round, round and round, early in the morning.

Good product, but a bit louder than I was hoping for
These fans move air fairly well, but they ended up being a bit too loud for the purpose I was using them for. Quieter than a lot of case fans but again, I would have liked them a bit quieter. Quality product though.

Really quiet for my application and seems to move a fair amount of air. I replaced two fans in a 4U chassis that had hard disks hitting 50C and tripping S.M.A.R.T. every hour or so. These fans seemed to help.
