Johnsons14247 Pansy Black Star, Deep Purple

tried multiple methods of germination, none of them worked. not sure if its just these seeds or the way they were delivered, they came very squashed but i didn't know if they were supposed to look flat. i'm guessing now that they weren't.

It’s my first time growing pansies from seeds this year and I have tried about four packets from different brands. So far these seeds have been amazing in comparison to the others. I’d say about 90% of them germinated and are doing so well. In the same conditions other brands have been closer to 30% or essentially nothing. Too early to tell how many of my seedlings will make it to flower but in terms of how it’s going I’m really pleased. It’s persuaded me to buy more from Johnson’s.

Never bought seeds before but these are just amazing! Spouted very quickly and the leaves are so thick, lush with a rich Green colour. Only bought a few weeks ago so no flowers yet but it's going very well so far! Highly recommended!

This came in lovely packet, expecting to 30 seeds, what a laugh, I got bag of rusk, I sowed just to see if just 1 would germinate, to my astonishment still no germination, purchased 13th April 2022 date today is 6th June 2022,I do not recommend this product, unhappy customer

Good germination. Have to wait until the autumn to comment on flowering

Only one plant actually looks as dark as the picture on the packet. I have a variation of light purple to deep purple. Lovely and healthy plants though so i am happy

they sprouted but never flowered. Just died.

Excellent seeds that are starting to shoot already, despite the unseasonal weather.
