MiraCool Cooling Bandanas. Pack of 4 Summer Heat Cooling Neck or Head Bandanas - Reusable

These bandanas are much narrower than I expected and the cooling gel is in a pocket about 4 inches long. When soaked, as directed, the gel forms a soft cylinder that does stay cool, but the rest of the "bandana" dries out quickly. The gel pouch is located off center, forcing you to tie it at one side or the other in order to keep the cooling portion at the back of the neck. I've used other cooling products, such as Frogg Toggs, that are a much better investment. Personally, I think a plain old regular bandana works about as well as this and doesn't dry out as quickly because of the folded thickness. I would not purchase this item again, nor recommend it to others.

My husband likes these for working in the yard and playing golf but the colors run when he wears a white golf shirt. However, I really bought these for our labradoodle. We live in the south so it is hot even in the morning. Both my dog and our neighbor's dog wear these to keep them cool on our morning walks. They give them a "paws up."

Works perfectly for hot, humid outdoor events. Yes, they do warm up after wearing for about 15 minutes, but that is why having 2 on hand per person, kept in a cooler of ice, is wise...swap them out when one warms up too much. Also, we added peppermint essential oil to the water they were expanding in which also has a cooling effect on the skin. TONS of beads in them if you leave them to expand in water for several hours in the fridge before using...if there were any more beads in them, they'd explode through the fabric/seems (that did NOT happen though even after sitting in water for 48+ hours for a 2-day outdoor event). Love these!! Great price at $9 for 4 of them too.

I bought this for my dog for in the summertime they’re great they help keep her cool on the hot days in the summer. Highly suggest them if you have a dog or even for you.After soaking simply massage the cooling gel throughout the bandanna very easy... I even would keep a container with water and ice cubes for extra hot days.

Kind of stingy with the absorbent crystals. I have one like this I bought in a store and it has at least double the crystals.They advertise this for cooling but IMHO they have it backwards. I dry mine out in the summer sun and wear it to soak up sweat. I don't need to add water to my head. It is already dripping.I'd like to see these redesigned with the goal of absorbing. So with a ton of crystals to work like a baby diaper and instructions on how to dry them safely in the oven.

I have neck wraps which are similar to these and find that they all are about the same as far as cooling is concerned. Body heat quickly warms them up, but they stay wet and you can easily re-wet with cool water. I carry two which I have iced down before. Really helps in a long day on my motorcycle in hot weather. Downside to these is that the coloring dye is not fast. Bled color onto my undershirt. No biggie, but if I had known I would have put them through one cleaning cycle before use.

I had bought items like this before. They lasted me a few years. I opened these at the beginning of the summer and they fell apart as I was getting them ready for an air show. I had to choose another brand for this summer.This product works. It does work well. But the material doesn’t last very long.Purchase for short term use if needed!

Colors not as bright as what i imagined to be. . . Blue is more blue gray and red is faded, but that was cometely fine for me. The inside stuff is like a gel, instead of beads like I had had I the past. Worked just like I expected, flip o we when needed for extra cool. Best part is, they didn't drip water everywhere. We bought a couple packs and brought them to an outdoor archery tournament, no trees close by just a few umbrella for shade, and these really did help cool and perk us up throughout the day!

One started to leak its Crystal's out after the first use. Worked for about 2 hours not the five it said.
