Seems fairly sturdy stand for the (very heavy) target, the wood is quite soft, The build quality on this straw boss target is very good, the arrows lodge and stick but they dont penetrate right through the boss and it is not proving to suffer significant wear with repeated shoots.

Perfect sized target for bows and crossbows.This is a great archery target, because it's made mostly from three layers of biodegradable straw rope. Ideally on a surface that won't do too much damage to the arrows if you miss the target, because the target itself is very arrow-friendly.

Very much a budget and or beginners target. It is very thick, I am mounting it to my garden fence and it is much better than the paper targets, and certainly better than the 1 layer targets i also saw around. This will be ideal as I plan to participate with Youth and Adults Alike in beginning and whetting their appetites toward the Sport of Archery.
