Best option for new puppy owners. I did not want to spend twice as much on the original snuggle puppy, especially since I thought the plush toy was hideous. My solution? Buy the replacement heart and add it to a cuter, less expensive plush moose toy. I tore the seam out of the moose and hot glued in strips of velcro. Just be sure that the eyes of the plush toy are embroidered stitches, not plastic (choking hazard). For half the price, my puppy has the cutest and most effective crate training comfort toy. We even brought it with us for the roadtrip home when we picked him up, it helped him instantly calm down after being separated from his mother and siblings. 3 weeks later, and he still cuddles with this every night in his crate. My favorite Amazon purchase in a long time!

I love this product! I have a small chihuahua with anxiety & fear of loud noise & storms. I place this in her bedding & she calms down. Sometimes she rests her head on it as it beats 💕

I purchased a stuffed puppy from the breeder when we got our puppy. The beating heart that was in that one only lasted a few weeks. Then it sounded like it was hammering drywall instead of a soft gentle heart. I didn’t want to get another stuffed dog, so I was amazed that I could buy just a “heart”. Your product was a life saver, and works so much better than the one that came with the $40 stuffed dog. She is 4 months old today, and I still turn it on every night. And yes, I did try to change the batteries with the other heart but that didn’t work. It was an entirely new heart transplant. Thank you for a working heart.

My senior pup started waking up in the middle of the night scared and would pace incessantly. We bought one of these and it helped her sleep great! I bought 2 so I had one for her night time sleep spot and one for her day time sleep spot. Since she wasn't into toys we'd tuck it into the edge of her dog bed or put it under the dog bed, I sewed one it into the corner of a blanket she'd cuddle on. There is an option for it to stay on 8hrs or continuously, and both settings seem accurate, very impressed with the battery life. Can't recommend it enough, saved me from sleepless nights and made my girl feel so much more at ease!

My dog is 17, and she has separation anxiety. Sometimes she is restless at night. Once I started this up, it was like she was hypnotized and conked out. It's so strong on my bed that I sleep to the rhythm, too! If you're too close to it, you can hear the springs or something mechanical inside. Its meant to go into a stuffed animal. I just put it under my mattress protector and its perfect. That way it doesn't move and provides just enough muffling to seem realistic. The batteries don't last as long as advertised, but I don't care, it gives my dog comfort which is priceless.

Similar to the original heart in my snuggle puppy, it died after 1 month of nightly use. For the price, it was not a good value for money. I would expect it to last much much longer. Very disappointed.

Wish that thia product would last a little longer before needing to be replaced. I went through 4 or 5 battery changes, lasting 2 weeks each, and then it died. It did however work very well to soothe newborn and very young kittens when placed inside a stuffed animal made for this purpose.

My pup has separation anxiety, and I rely on the toy to help her sleep through the night. The one problem with the toy though, is if I don't take it from her in the morning, after she sleeps with it, she will play with it and remove the heart. That is pretty easy to do, and she took the last heart outside, where it is likely buried.So I bought 2 of these spare hearts. So far it works perfectly, and she's back to sleeping normally at night!
