Wowww! This was the expression when my grandson saw the box. He could not stop playing with the train that day. It is beautiful and works ok, even the train falls off the track, but the game is... put it back and let us go play!!!

The train is sturdy enough to go under the tree but the motor grinds along so loudly that the Christmas music is drowned out.

My wife purchased this for our kid at Toys 'R Us as one of his holiday gifts. Today I am assembled it and it is a pretty train, great sounds, but track is really bad. You will spend more time, seeing the train getting derailed than playing. Plastic track keeps moving where each section is connected and even a slight move (some millimeters) will make the train to derail. If you can have it right and the train can go around one lap forward, when you put it to go in reverse at some point will derail. Also it is not so easy for a kid to place the train wagon aligned to the track, again any slight movement will derail the train. It would be nice if each track section would snap in place and does not move. If you want to keep them together, you might need to use crazy glue or a similar product, to keep the track sections from moving. I believe we might be returning it. Very disappointing.

First of all, if you must buy this set, buy it at Home Depot where it is less than $50.Second of all, don't buy it. The train cars are unnecessarily difficult to keep attached. Then, it is difficult to put them on the tracks. Next, it is difficult to keep them on the tracks. Finally, the train is extremely loud.Is so much difficulty needed? I hate this product.

DON'T BUY IT. Doesn't stay together, falls off the tracks constantly, and it's difficult to get it back together and on the tracks at the same time. Total waste of money!
