I have medium length thin hair that I like to twist up on the back of my head. This holds it nicely and comfortably and actually closes all the way over the twist so it doesn't fall down. It is also more comfortable if I have to lean my head back than some of the other clips.

This is the perfect clip for a quick effortless looking French twist, I also did a half up messy bun with this the other day I got so many compliments (even from men in my office). I love this look especially with a cozy sweater this time of year.

I bought a similar clip in France and was looking for more. These work well to hold a simple figure 8 bun on the back of my head. Instead of making a simple pony tail, I twist it up and around and clip it with one of these. Looks very nice. I have not found clips like these in any stores in the US.

Bought this to hold loose low bun at back of head. It works pretty well depending on thickness of hair. I have long thick hair and had purchased 2 clips- that works to hold it in place. A little pricey per clip though.

Not very good quality. The teeth start to bend soon after using. It is also not designed for thick hair. Would not recommend.
