Interesting reading
I had purchased this item in addition with the other two True Blood graphic novels. I was looking for a True Blood fix since Season 5 is over and the final Sookie Stackhouse book won't be out until next year. I thought this was interesting since you get a bit of Eric's background. Of the three graphic novels, I think this one is the second best.

Have the 2 novels before this, happy that I now have the third!
Came quickly and in great condition! It was fairly cheap and worth the money spent. Huge fan of the show and comics, so this was a must buy!

Blood And More Blood
Another collection tying into the series has the three headliners working a case together in New Orleans that ties into a vampire's past. A bit more relateable than the previous volumes- at least to an outsider. The main story comes across as one that you don't have to understand the dynamics of the show or books to get- perhaps it's taking these characters out of their usual locale that does the trick. I do find these two vampires to be pretty self absorbed and overblown... but that tends to fit vampires in the genre to begin with. The art has a moody style well suited to the subject matter.

Great graphic, sharp dialogue
I got this as a Christmas present and wasn't disappointed. Although the artwork isn't as good as the second one (Eric and one of the villains look like twins), the plot is devious and interesting and you really have to pay attention to what's going on. A good subplot involves Pam and Lafayette and I'm pleased that the writer(s) have managed to retain the "voices" of these two snarky characters. Pam showing humility at the end is very funny. So what did I do after reading the book in record time: I ordered the 4th True Blood graphic novel with next-day shipping!
