Extremely happy with this purchase. I have spent more money on leather sheaths alone, which was why I was unsure of this deal.Knife: Quality of the knife alone is shocking. Ottoza is definitely pouring their heart out in what they do and it shows. Sharp as hell, full tang, sturdy handle.Sheath: thick leather, holds knife well, quality snaps- 5 starsMeant for business, but after you look long and hard at the durability of this knife and sheath, there’s some REALLY good looking design to every bit. Tuff, heavy duty, and it looks good.- 5 starsPhotos, and ratings on its performance in the field to come.

I bought this knife 2 months ago and thought I had a great knife. Beautiful pattern and have not used it. I put a thin coat of oil on it regularly to prevent rust. As I was cleaning the knife this evening I noticed two delaminations at the same spot on each side of the knife just below the serrations and a crack on each side of the knife below the thumb rest just in front of the handle... Unfortunately I didn't closely inspect the blade after I got it the window has passed to return the knife.

I just got it a little bit ago.Went hiking 1 time. Obviously deep in nature you get wet. The knife is full of Rost. Horrible.so much money. I am beyond upset

Ok this Knife is not to the Fit Or Finnish I would normally accept. The Damascus folds are rough to the touch on both sides. The Grinder Wheel marks WHERE still visible as it was somebody’s Monday’s Morning hangover or Friday after a 1 Qt. Lunch. But instead of sending it back. I put it on a stone, straightened the edge SO it COULD be sharpened.The Bone Handle, nice filigree offset on ONE Side of the tang. Too bad they didn’t pay the same attention to the blade patten & Laminations.HOWEVER the bone is thin on one side and thick on the other and fits a baby’s hand. And I have small hands. Cover the pretty White bone up with Stretch Athletic Tape then I can handle it. WHAT is there a BONE SHORTAGE in the World???I have others from Poshland that needed a little Edge Work because the Grind was Rough.However the Fit & Finnish on the Poshland Damascus sets I have is FAR Superior.In Balance, Smooth blade faces just a better quality knife.I’ll beat this Bone Handle One Up. I got feeling it’s made in Turkey & won’t hold up and break. I just bought it for the stealth “Scabbard” for my Poshland.Upon Reading other NEW reviews, looking at the Pic’s of the Knife they Received.2 Totally Different Knifes. I don’t have ANY Thing Ne’er the Tear Drop Pattern. My Poshland Knifes all Have it.One other Reviewer received the same Quailty Knife I Did. I got exactly what was advertised. The bone handle fits perfect in my hand (I'm a big guy so that is a concern of mine when buying knives) and was not cracked (as some people have reviewed) and the bone itself looks really good. The blade looks O.K.Just O.K. But it's not bad!It does not have the raindrop pattern damascus steel as advertised in the picture (bummer), and the saw on the top of the blade is thicker and not as pointed as said picture. It may be difficult using it as an actual saw, but that has yet to be tested.The knife itself was VERY sharp upon arrival, and for $60-70 bucks this product is AMAZING! The sheath alone was worth the price. The stitching and quality on the sheath are top notch. This knife was BIGGER than I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing, as I said I'm a big guy. The knife itself does jostle a bit inside the sheath a bit, but I don't see that being a problem.I've paid twice as much for damascus steel knives that were half the quality, and they didn't come with a sheath like this. It's very unique and I can't wait to show it off.Overall I'm very impressed. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time (even though it was "running late" for a day.) It has a bulky, sturdy feel to it. It does not feel cheap. It does not look cheap.

What a disappointment. This knife is by no means a Tracker nor a Hunting knife.When i received my order the handle was cracked and falling apart. The Rivets are slipping off the handle.I will like to request a refund. The craftsmanship on this knife is very poor. Dull right off the bag. No rust was on the knife. The blade itself looks very nice but the handle is not well attached.I really like the knife but i do not want to cut myself while using a knife with a handle that is falling apart.I am hoping that my order was a random issue.I see very good comments about this knife. I would like to trade in my knife.

Okay, I'm a sucker for nice knives. I have several. No, I'm not a collector--I just like good knives. There was no reason or need for me to buy this knife, but I'm glad I did. It's really nice, and well worth the money. I don't use it for daytime hiking, though, because it's too bulky, more of a survival type of knife and perfect for week-long hunting and fishing trips, and almost too pretty to use--almost.

I love this knife! Absolutely beautiful design and quality! I use it all the time camping. Bought a self flint for the pocket, works great. Absolutely a wonderful knife!
