I waited patiently for this water test, being 2 days late (Prime was no help). The iron, ph, chlorine and chloride tests were a fail. But really, the whole kit is a fail. There is nothing scientific about ONE test strip/test for each item being tested. Had I known I would only be able to run one test for each item, would have never bought this. Scientifically speaking, there needs to be at least 3 test strips/rounds for each test to make this viable, so you can check results. But really, add 6 so I can test the main unfiltered source and then the filtered water source. I would have paid more to be able to do this properly and accurately. I have no idea how accurate this test kit really is. So disappointed.

This was advertised as a goods kit to check well water I believe. However, if testing your iron is important to you, then this may not work.The limit this test will show due iron is 1 ppm. Many people have iron test above that and need to know if they have 2, 3, 4 ,5 or so on ppm of iron in their water. I was one of those people so this test didn't do what I needed.

The test is difficult to understand in that the instruction card enclosed which describes the test does not match with the test kit names. Giving cute nicknames like Aunt Edna's copper test ( I cannot remember the names now) makes a complex water test more difficult because I was searching the instruction card for the test with the "cute" name and couldn't find it.In addition, I would like to have another lead test kit sent to me because the kit that came with mine did not say to remove the yellow strip with the arrow pointing downwards before placing it in the water. How am I supposed to know to peel that off if the instructions don't say to do it? Testing your home's water is not an everyday experience where we know the chemical names and are able to match it up with the cutest names on your test kits.As a result, my lead test did not work because I did not peel off the yellow strip and you did not say to do that on the enclosed instruction card.After the test, I know my water is hard, alkaline, has copper and some sulfates, but what am I supposed to do with that information now? I think the test needs to explain to the consumer what is reasonable and what is unreasonable besides just a red asterisk. The test kit needs tweaking and improvement.

I've saved a lot of money getting this test because sending each parameter to a lab can cost hundreds of dollars...

The lead test was missing The box was sealed. I started using it before I realized it was missing ( it’s a once use test kit ) The other six tests are ok a accurate enough for screening for potential problems. I think the lead test along with bacteria ant nitrates are the most important as far as a safety screenI would recommended it but check your box

I live in an older home and was not sure about the tap water, I am glad I purchased the kit for my piece of mind. The product was as described with easy to understand instructions. I will purchase this product again and send to my children as gifts for their homes.

The product was delivered on time and safely. Tested for oddities in the water all the tests worked great found oddities in water and going to clear them up with a filtering system. Thanks a lot great product.

I drink gallons of water a day so I got this to double check the safety. So simple and it's very helpful.
