Brilliant lights, great price, works almost seamlessly with Google home integrated with smartlife. However, mine has recently began emitting a really high frequency noise when turned off - nothing to do with the fitting as its recently pat tested. Can't sleep with it so it kind of defeats the point of it being automated. Interested to hear if you have had similar issues and if there's anything you can do about it. Best regards, James

Really impressed, set up was so easy, I’m new to this whole smart bulb concept, so I checked with my broadband provider, my router was only a single band, 2.4 ghz, if you have fibre it’s probably dual band, so you may need to make changes to your router which still looks easy or ask the provider.I followed the instructions and it was completed and paired to Alexa in 5 minutes, delighted with the results, different colours, and being able organise room and groups, so Im able to turn all lights in one room or the whole house with one command, so impressed, -purchased more the next day for different rooms. Be aware they are tall bulbs/lamps if you have limited space. I am new to this but intend to convert all my house to smart bulbs eventually, it’s great security, easy to use, great if you Have your hands full, you can ask Alexa to turn the lights on in the bedroom before you get there, and the colours are great for mood lighting. and you are still able to use manually if the WiFi goes down. You can also use your tablet or phone as a remote. Fab product, really pleased with purchase. I chose not to go with Philips hue as I didn’t want another hub to add to my system. For me right choice.

It’s a shame the bulb didn’t last as long as took to set it up in the first place! It just gave up one night after a couple of months and never came back to life.EDIT: Bulb was replaced by vendor after they read the review. Replacement bulb has been fine. Good customer service.

I'm not joking......these bulbs were massive!! It was like going back in time when energy light bulbs were these huge chunky ugly bulbs that were so big they'd hang out the bottom of the lampshades.......well these are the same. They're not the E14 bulbs I was expecting at all. I was expecting to receive something similar in size to the golf ball style ones. This humongous bulb wouldn't even fit where I needed it to go in behind a Plastered D-shaped wall light fitting. I didn't even get to the fitting so afraid I can't comment any further on how they work or how bright they were. I took one out the box, thought 'flipping hek they're huge and aren't gonna fit', and put it back in the box for a return. I'm currently waiting for a refund.My 1 star rating is based on size and practicality of the bulb fitting in anything NOT on anything else.

Easy to set up .. easy app to understand and operate with multifunction working alongside Alexa for voice operation.

Pros:1. Cheap and easy to setup2. Bright and/or colourful3. Work well with the Vulcan Technologies 'Smart Life' appCons:1. One of the eight bulbs I bought wouldn't connect to wifi/bluetooth2. The E14 screw connections can get warm over time

The lights are really bright with a great range of colours and dimmer works great. The issue is the connectivity problems. Setup was fine, but the light switch was turned off at one stage and it took a whole day of fiddling and replacing one bulb to get them reconnected. At present the house is having Wi-Fi problems and the lights fail totally to reconnect when the Wi-Fi comes back online. Still currently not connected, basic on/off using the light switch, won't make another attempt until Wi-Fi is stable. Phillips Hue are 2 or 3 times the price but if buying again I would happily pay more for the reliability.

Habe es ausgepackt und es hat Prima funktioniert👍. man lädt die App runter verbindet die LED lampe mit dem Internet und kann sein Smarthome nach gemüten einrichten.

Die hier verkauften Birnen aus einer Bestellung vom 02.02.2021 ließen sich nicht mehr mit Tasmota OTA flashen (Tuya Convert) / Sie hatten ein Produktionsdatum von 2021. Bei einer Bestellung vom 18.01.2021 wurden noch ältere Birnen geliefert, die sich flashen ließen und dann ausverkauft waren - die Einzelbirnen waren allerdings noch verfügbar und verkaufen sich vermutlich weniger oft - eventuell kann also das Einzelpack noch OTA geflashed werden.Die Birnen selbst sind gut, haben aber kleine Schwächen:- WiFi-Verbindung ist ungleichmäßig gut, mal sehr gut, mal mit geringer Reichweite bis zum Router- Die Farben sind in Ordnung und lassen sich mittels Tasmota regeln, bei gleichem Birnenmodell und gleicher Tasmota-Version entstehen trotzdem mitunter bei der selben ausgewählten Farbe unterschiedliche Farbtöne - nur Weiß ist das Licht aber angenehm und durch die Dimmung auch je nach Stimmung auswählbar, ohne dass man Farbtöne beimischt.- Sie sind relativ groß, es gibt kleinere Birnen - man sollte also schauen, ob sie in die Fassung passen- Wärmeentwicklung ist in Ordnung- Aktuell sind mir keine E14-Birnen mehr bekannt, die sich noch mit Tuya Convert flashen lassen
