Beautiful leotard! My daughter is 9 and wears a size 14 (she is very tall for her age and lean). I purchased the womens x small on a whim and kept my fingers crossed that it would fit...it did but just barely. It won't fit her in six months but since this is our first leotard purchase I can't say if it runs small or not. As the mom of a girl I worry about private areas potentially showing or bulging through and am happy to say that the crotch and bottom area of this leo fit really well. There is no bulging or gaps, it fits flush against the skin and doesn't slip no matter how she rolls, tumbles or flips. To me thats a big deal and something I appreciate greatly. The leo is very well made. I plan on purchasing several more for her and highly recommend Pelle.

I get these Pelle leotards for my 8 year old daughter. They are quality and look good, however she is in the Adult size, which I think is really weird, particularly since it is advertised as leotard for GIRLS. She is on the taller spectrum of her age (85 percentile) and weight (also 85 percentile), but not by any means abnormal. Really measure your child well before purchasing. I have no idea what size a 10 year old would fit in, almost seems like they don't have a size after 3rd grade.

My daughter loved it - perfect stretch and it didn’t dig into her shoulders or ride up, even when working on skills. My daughter has a very muscular build and this leotard fit without being too wide (as some leotards feel when we buy them for her long torso) or ride up on the rear. She says it is comfy and loves the pattern. We did size up since some of her measurements were in a CM and some were in a CL.

I purchased the rainbow peacock leotard as a gift for an 9 year old that wears a size 7/8 ingirls. I got the adult extra small and it fit her with a little wiggle room mainly up in the shoulder area. She said the leg openings were a little tight but overall decided to keep it.The colors on the leotard are brighter than they look in the example photo. The pink is neon and so is the green but still very pretty!

We loved the leotard, but it fit far too small for size listed. My daughter is small for her age, and it was still too small for her. It was beautiful, though, and a fantastic color! Very disappointed that we had to return, as they did not have any in the next size up available...

RE: Pelle Girls' Discount Gymnastics Leotard Butterfly Wing Holo, size CMWe purchased this purple/blue/green butterfly leotard, and its shimmery fabric was very beautiful in person. However, the first wash as directed (washing machine on cold, hang to dry) removed ALL of the glitter. Apparently the glitter was somehow glued to the fabric and not part of the fabric itself. Still a nice leotard, but without the glitter. If you want to keep the shimmer, consider hand washing.

These are absolutely adorable and excellent quality. My daughter is obsessed with the softness of the velvet and they look super cute. I ordered a medium for her, she is 4 but very tall for her age and it fits a little big which is what I wanted so they will last for next year. These are by far the best I've found anywhere and I have looked EVERYWHERE!

In a pinch, I spent $50 at a darn Gymnastics place b/c my baby girl needed a leotard next day for first class and this hadn't been delivered yet. I can easily say that the MUCH more reasonably priced Pelle leotards are just as well made, fits well and look great. Buy with confidence.By the way, our little tumbler is a very small 5yr old and the CXS fits perfect for her.
