Making Cake Pops? Tips for you
Great quality. Withstands high heat. Make sure to spray pan spray in them, it helps the cake pops release easily. If you are making the "dress bottom" cake pops, make sure your batter is very thick. If brownies is what you are using, it will be fine without moderation, but if cake batter is what you are making in them, make sure to reduce the water by half and add instant pudding to the mix. It will thicken enough to help the sticks "stick" than the soft.If you end up with too soft of a cake, there is a work around. Dip the cake pop sticks into the melted candy coating, then stick them way down inside the bell shaped cake pop breading. Then, freeze them for 5 minutes. The super cold cake will freeze the melted candy to the pop stick and will also freeze the candy coating immediately. If you don't, the stick will melt out and the cake will fall off the stick while dipping. Like I said, a thicker cake is best, it solves the whole issue of falling off the stick. The image is my first attempt without knowing this particular pan needs a thick cake for sticks to stay. I double dipped them to look like layered tulle dresses for the Ever After High Party.
